Thread: Saved Games

I'm going to format my drive in a few days. Obivously I want to keep my MTW saved games. Do I only need to keep the .cpg files in SaveGames, or are there some crazy hidden files I should know about? I plan to put them on a floppy, and then put them back into the SaveGames files when I reinstall MTW.

    Thanks.

The .cpgs are all you need - but you might struggle to get them on a floppy unless you are zipping them...

Can u delete save-games by deleting these files as well or do u have to use the deleting function within the game?

You can delete them, rename the files, sned them to your friends or what ever, just keep the cpg extension.

When I back up saved game files, I just backup the entire folder(I have a zip drive). The folder can get fairly massive. Do you have a cd-burner? That would probably be the best idea.
