Warmaster Horus settled into his room for the night, following the rather strange execution during the day, content to gather his thoughts and ponder the situation for a few hours. He jammed a log upon the door frame, just in case, to help prevent it from sliding open should a "visitor" come. As he sat down, his back to a wall, the door began rattling. Someone, or something, was attempting to open its way in. Warmaster Horus scrambled backwards into the far corner, as the rattling became more intense. Then, curiously, it stopped. Warmaster Horus breathed a sigh of relief. As he started to compose himself and stand up from his corner, the door suddenly blew open, as a tsuname-like wind destroyed the entire frame holding it together. A black bipedal being with large fangs strolled into the gap, grinning at Warmaster Horus, who was once more cowering in the corner. It held a large bag in its right hand. It held the bag up, apparently empty. Out of the emptiness a large gust came, flowing under Warmaster Horus, lifting him high towards the ceiling. The being walked under Warmaster Horus, and held the bag under him. With no warning, the wind stopped, and Warmaster Horus fell back down, into the bag. The being closed the bag up instantly, trapping Warmaster Horus inside. The air inside the bag evacuated, causing a sensation akin to a vacuum. Warmaster Horus struggled, but could find no oxygen to cure the burning in his lungs. The being apparently felt no desire to prolong the struggle. It raised a clawed hand, curling it into a fist, and gave a single, almighty punch to Warmaster Horus' form. Instantly, the struggling stopped. The being opened the bag, and dumped him out. Seeing no reason to linger, the strange creature left the room, with Warmaster Horus' body in plain sight through the now vacant door frame.

Aries was sitting outside his room for the night. Thus far, in his logic, people in their room kept dying, so he would wait outside, where he could see any potential killer coming. True to his logic, as he swivled his head from side to side, he spotted, down the hall, what looked like some kind of red-skinned human. The strange character turned towards Aries. Aries, sensing danger, immediately stood up and ran the opposite direction. He sprinted down corridor after corridor, ignoring fatigue as adrenaline pumped through his body. In the back of his mind, he wondered where the strange humanoid was. It then occured to him: it had clearly stopped following him at some point. Aries slowed his pace down to a jog, then a walk. He turned his head once more on a swivel, down every hallway in the vicinity. Nothing. Finally attaining a sence of security and peace of mind, Aries began a jaunt back to his room. As he turned at the first t-section. quite unexpectedly, Aries dropped like a stone. His heart had suddenly stopped, ceasing all flow of oxygen to the rest of his body. Aries did not even get a chance for a last thought to comprehend his doom...

YourLordandConqueror was in his room preparing for the night, getting everything he needed until morning. He stopped on a dime whilst folding a piece of cloth. His previously focused gaze went slack. He stood up, and walked over to where his closet stood. He reached into a bottom corner, and grabbed a long dagger he kept for defense. Quite clearly, loudly, and suddenly, a cackle escaped his throat. He raised the dagger up to his throat, still roaring with laughter, and dragged the sharp blade across his jugular. Though he collaped to the ground in a heap, his body instinctively clinging to his last ounces of life has he bled to death, a softer tittering still rendered itself through the room....

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

hmm, 3 people dead in a night and only 18 people left alive, with some (2 to 3 ?) of these being mafia there aren't too many nights left to catch the scum...

    Vote CrazedRabbit

Just sticking my vote on a bit of a lurker at the moment, may change it if i get back in time from work tomorrow, apart from lurking CA's accident is about the scummiest thing in the thread, but i fear he may be yet another pro-town role we kill off thanks to CA's naturally scummy behaviour....

Or he really is scum this time and is banking on people not wanting to vote on his scummy behaviour because he turned out to be a god whilst acting scummy in midgard...

Ok ok, so i have checked back through the thread and CR is actually quite active, so ahh my lurker reason is negated, but thinking on it this is slightly different behaviour to what i observed in midgard as he seemed very quiet in the thread, but in this game he has been a bit more talkative, a change of behaviour indicating a change of alignment (pro town to anti town)

    God, I miss Holmes.

Out of the 18 remaining, we have at least 2 (Ignoramus, El Diablo) that are almost certainly WoG bait. We can't afford to waste lynches on them.

    Instead, I'm going to

    Vote: KukriKhan

because I think he's playing a different game than usual.

Ok ill admit my reasoning is sketchy at best but now i have started a job my only real chance to vote is just after the voting has started, so now i have to come up with my own conclusions and see who is acting different to usual, whereas before i could wait for a bit for some of the more experienced mafia players to do some anylisis, at least this way i guess im not getting led by the mafia, im going to try and be an independent thinker this game, as one thing i noticed whilst mafia in midgard was that it was easier to lead the town to its destruction with everyone following the same path...

I am the investigator for this game, the Grand Shinobi. I can detect other players guilt, baring that of the Godfather, who will appear innocent to me. Also, any players who have killed another player, regardless of which side they work for, will appear guilty as well.

I have investigated Factionheir, last night. From what I can tell, either there is a roleblocker, and I am dead this night phase or the next, or Factionheir is guilty. I would place my money more on the roleblocker, and I am guessing it is pro-mafia, which would explain the lack of a kill. I suspect either LittleGrizzly or Factionheir of being the roleblocker. I am hope to be able to continue my investigations for at least 2 more nights, then I should be certain.

I ask that you post this if I die.

Several points - I was a town power role in Midgard and was still thinking discreet behind the scenes action could help. I was obviously wrong and so I vowed not to repeat that mistake.

But since I don't have such a role (it seems YLAC had it this game, unfortunately, since he's now dead) I'm not acting the same.

As for YourLordandConqueror, I can confirm that I received a PM from him before he died that was the same as glyphz's.

But his death is most disturbing. Is there something in this game that can make us kill ourselves?

Right now I am torn between FactionHeir as YLAC suggested or CountArach. I am suspicious of CA because in Prohibition Mafia, he made a somewhat similar slip-up and got lynched, and he turned out to be mafia.

But evidence from the detective is heavier, for now, especially considering he is now dead. Though it doesn't seem conclusive.

    Anyway,
    vote: FactionHeir

I don't see a reason to not trust YLC. Please claim a role, FH.
