Caius better not post or vote. If he does it means he has been online all this time and has been intentionally lurking.

If he does post, we need to kill him tomorrow. If not, Chaotix should WOG him for inactivity.

    SCUM SCUM SCUM SCUM SCUM.

FactionHeir is known for being a kick-arse townie. Lurking, posting late before the bell to avoid a WOG, and targeting factionheir for basically no reason.

However, this doesn't clear factionheir in my mind. ED might know he's about to die and is trying to convince town FH is innocent.

    Vote remains on El Diablo.

I did not want to reveal as I was Palom (and now super suspicious) however Tiberius was my twin and we could protect or vigilante kill once per night. However I was made redundant due to Tiberius getting wogged and our ability required the both of us to able to target.

I tried to protect FH on night one but Tiberius never got his order in and then his head exploded.
May have been a good thing as I am not convinced to FH's innocence.

Since losing my partner I have been attempting to get old fashioned investigation to sort it.

Thus I am expendable but I am also not scum. So lynch away if you want another Shin on your hands...

Otherwise change your vote to FH and finish this.

Nice try, El Diablo. But there's no way you're getting away with this.

    EDIT:

Glyphz has apparently gone along with the plan. So... time will tell whether he is guilty or not.

If he's innocent, uh, mafia is going to target him instead of me... hehehehe which means I get another investigation! Bwahaha!

I think that it's entirely possible that you and Factionheir are both mafia, so changing my vote won't matter too much in such a case.

    However, your story seems believable.

    Unvote: El Diablo

    Vote: FactionHeir

Sorry, FH... but maybe there is some truth in what he's saying.

I suppose it's a HUGE long shot that I'm a big fat liar. If so, I TRULY deserve the prize for largest cojones EVER.

However, Aries you and I both know I know your special ability, as per Chaotix's allowing me to reveal things publicly. QJC and I both know he is innocent, because I investigated him too.

That means unless you and QJC both declare me to be a liar, I am a defacto proven innocent player. Also none have questioned that I am Cid, and none have come forward as the investigator besides me. And if they did, you could double lynch us both for having at least ONE confirmed Liar.

Honestly, if I were mafia, doing what I am doing is utter idiocy. PS Mafia will try to kill me tonight, so, uh... tootles?

I'm gonna give Caius a half hour to vote, and if he doesn't, I'll have to WoG him. I pm'ed him to let him know, too. Either way, Day 3 will end in a half hour.

Also, I forget who asked, but I live in New York. I sense the tension building up... this could be fun...

I repeat, as my final wish as your beloved (and despised) town leader (voted myself into office with no opposing votes):

If Glyphz does not attempt to kill Warmaster Horus tonight, try or fail, he is GUILTY.

If Caius posts or votes, he's an intentional lurker and you know what to do about that as well.

If Glyphz succeeds in killing WH tonight, he's not only confirmed innocent but you are missing another suspect.

If Glyphz dies tonight, mafia killed him. Meaning I am still alive, and I will reveal the results of my next investigation... whom shall I investigate... hmmm I WONDER!

I will not investigate Caius, as he is about to be WOG'ed or lynched tomorrow for being a lurker.

I will not investigate Glyphz because he is cooperating with the "prove youre not lying" plan.

I will not investigate FactionHeir because he is about to be lynched.

I will have to investigate El Diablo or Warmaster Horus. Which do I choose, oh how ever shall I pick?

    Sorry for the double post!

To prevent a last minute double lynch, we need to have someone change their vote to FactionHeir. Caius could arrive and thwart everything with an El Diablo vote.

    Voting Results:
FactionHeir- 3 (Aries, El D., ATPG)
    El Diablo- 2 (glyphz, Q.JC)
    Warmaster Horus- 1 (FH)
    Caius- 1 (WH)

    The Lynch:

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

The heroes, now reduced to only 7, carried out the lynch voting in the same way as the previous day. After the votes were cast, they were read by Golbez, who had taken over as leader after the death of his brother, Cecil. Edge had collapsed just before he cast his vote. He was unconscious, and it looked like he would not come out of this coma anytime soon. And so the one with the most votes after the end was Edward, who had become known as a "Spoony Bard".

Edward, after hearing of his fate, was despondent. It seemed he had accepted his fate. Golbez broke the silence. "Do you have any last words, Edward?"

"Yes," responded Edward, "this idea was a huge mistake in the first place. First Rosa, now me... all I wanted to do was help Cecil rid the world of evil. Now even he's gone... but still I was hoping I could assist the rest of you... for my Anna. But now it appears I will be joining her very soon. If you don't want me anymore... if you're really going to go through with this... just make it quick. I want to be with the people who love and appreciate me... Cecil, Rosa, and most of, Anna."

"Very well, then," replied Golbez. "One of you who has voted for him, step up and follow through with your vote."

None of the six moved. Nobody would dare to try to kill another friend. Rydia had done it and suffered terribly... no one else wanted to feel the remorse.

At last, Cid stepped forward. "I'll do it. I voted for you. I know you're under Zemus' control, you're just trying to make yourself look innocent now!"

"If you want to kill me, then do it! I'm getting impatient just waiting here for my death. All this time I've looked the least brave of all of us, but now those of you who voted for me have shown the cowardice inside you! I do not fear death any more, but all of you are too scared to finish what you set out to do! Kill me, or else be known as a coward!

"You would call me a coward, you spoony bard? It will be my pleasure to end your life, then!" Cid shouted, his temper rising quickly.

Cid lifted the huge steel hammer he used to build his airships. Whirling it around his head once, he charged, screaming, at Edward. The hammer swung. It collided with Edward's face, smashing it in and spattering mixed blood and brains all over Cid. Edward's beautiful face had been disfigured beyond all recognition, and the life was gone from his body. He lay on the floor in a bloody heap.

Night 3 has begun. It will end slightly early, at EST 7:00 PM (GMT 12:00 AM, I believe).

    Truly awesome!

I hope my death has at least as much entertainment value. I think my losing streak of picking only townies is finally over... too bad I won't live to see another day.

Why would El Diablo vote for FactionHeir? Seems pretty clean to me. Therefore:

    [edit]
Looking back at ATPG's reveal, something that strikes me is that no new information is given in it. While no one else is claiming Cid (and he could just be Cid), I am rather puzzled why he investigated QJC and Aries who already revealed. In a way, it may tie him with Aries. So either ATPG is playing with us or he wasted a few investigations.

Stating the obvious, just in case anyone wasn't paying attention. It's how mafioso contribute to the game.

Add to that, he was behaving as he normally does as townie and helping the town in general.

My reasons for WH were quite clear. He lurked, hardly posting anything. In the other mafia game he did exactly the same and was guilty. That is a good reason to suggest that it is the same here, especially as he was online when people voted him but didn't respond at all.

One has to wonder if you aren't the mafioso yourself and just using the spotlight to direct attention away from you really.

Restates everything any innocent person might agree with, and points finger at me.

While there is some suspicion on you (because using the spotlight on yourself seems very unmafia-like, but was nevertheless employed previously), I am more concerned about the others that just jump on the wagon whenever you call it.

Points finger at Warmaster Horus once again. He must REALLY want Horus to die. Shall we oblige?

I've been much less active here than in Starship Exodus (5 posts here, 17 over there; I wouldn't say I lurked there), because there's too much discussion going on. I should have guessed that would happen with ATPG here, but 10 pages for barely 2 nights... TOO MUCH!

Anyhoo, everyone was voting me after 10H35 my time (GMT+2). Folks, I gotta be at the school (which is 20 minutes away from where I live) at 8 am. This means I should wake up 'round 6h45 and to have 8 hours of sleep, I should be in bed at around 10h30.
Guys, when I was being voted for, I was logging out. Checking my PMs, LotR and WotB busied me right before that. I didn't have time even to contest!

So, can someone tell me why I'm under suspicion, other than the fact I've been lurking?
And I've been going through the last couple of pages... I've got one thing to say:

Asking somebody to reveal is almost like quoting PMs. The main difference is that one's got a nice little box around the text.

This entire post is one giant alibi for not being a loyal townie and posting more. Now look at good ole FactionHeir's response:

That said, suspicion rests on your behavior as its identical to that in shlin's Starthip mafia where you were the mafioso. That is quite a plausible reason.

If you feel you do not have enough time to actively participate, Chaotix did say you can drop out and give the role to someone else. Otherwise it must be assumed that you prefer lurking.

This is FactionHeir playing his most difficult role; himself. And he did a brilliant job with that entirely fabricated back-and-forth.

At this point I refer you back to their other posts, as this is where it started getting really suspicious for me. Reading the entire thread again, pay attention to these two, and tell me they aren't mafia. I rest my case. I don't even need to see El Diablo's investigation, nor hear about Glyphz' murdering of Warmaster Horus, if he did indeed succeed.

Good game, everyone! Not bad for my first attempt.

Or perhaps, somehow, I am mistaken?

We cannot be certain whether Factionheir was the mafia or not, none the less his action in the previous round was more than suspcious enough to get himself lynched.

What we should do now is let glyphz to go after Warmaster Horus and Askthepizzaguy to investigate El Diablo. Then we'll act depending on the results.

Edit: That was some awesome anaylsis you made there Askthepizzaguy.

    Challenge: Mafia
It is said that you do not attack me... out of fear.

But seriously though. FuSoYa would like the mafia to attack FuSoYa, FuSoYa thinks that FuSoYa is the most powerful townie ever alive and FuSoYa likes hearing FuSoYa talking about FuSoYa.

    FuSoYa is FoS You! You.

And so the one with the most votes after the end was Edward, who had become known as a "Spoony Bard".
The Spoony Bard committed the murders, did he not? Or am I missing a clue.

    http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/S...he_Spoony_Bard

Also, when I was being "assaulted/attempted blocked" one night it was done by a certain "Spoony Bard", but I am not allowed to quote the thing for proof.

Could my analysis be built upon a house of cards? If I am incorrect, town is still close to victory. However, too many things add up that point to FactionHeir and Warmaster Horus.

If I'm wrong, I will bow down graciously before Warmaster Horus and beg for forgiveness. I am almost certain the analysis is correct.

Before I say anything, veery well done ATPG. I'll watch out for you in the next games you play.

    ATPG, where do you live?
'Cos on my side of the planet, it was midnight (or close to) when I last posted. I had been up since 6h30. See why I logged out?

As for tackling your analysis, I won't do it. Why? Because it is made of practically every post I did, and a few from FH. And they are all viewed from the POV that I and FH are scum.
I applaud you for taking the time to do that. I couldn't do that myself, but the problem is that you keep repeating "scum, scum, scum" in my direction, and not offering much new stuff.
Seeing as you are anxious for me to answer you, I'll stop here, because I don't have anything to say, because anything I do say will be seen from the wrong side of the track.
And I was making this post before the 419 one. If you'd checked my profile, you'd have seen me on this thread.
