My worst mistakes must be to rely on merceneries as I am mad about blitzing...
so they leave no money for improving my cities....
and I think to use heavy cavalry too much also they are perfect but tires very quickly and I still chase light cavalry with them

I often forget to do something with young and perspective generals and notice them only after notification about some nasty vice. The larger my kingdom is, the more often it happens.

most common one is unavoidable:
attacking a celtic town (eleutheroi in particular). their naked stoners are heck. luckily i've invented new tactics, so i can lower casualties from an average of 24% to an average of 7%...
@Andronikos: If I may: you can use the one that lists you're cities, and the family tree, in combinaton. that way, you can spread them out, and give them jobs. works perfectly in AS and romani campaigns; everybody had something to do, and every city got governed. just me
