Alright, Hierax it is.
Now who wants to let me lead his army?
To settle the deal between Romans and Greeks once and for all... both Italy and Greece are in deep s*** at the moment. Do you really think who had the biggest spear in antiquity makes any difference?
Question. I'm a little unclear about the state of adoptions in the game.
In the first section of the FAQ (avatars), it says that "If a Man of the Hour adoption is offered to an avatar, the choice of whether to accept it is entirely up to the avatar who is the adopter."
But right after that:
1.2a Avatar Adoption
No 'Man Of Great Potential' offers at the start of the turn will be accepted.
So my question is, if I go with an RBG can I later be adopted by a family member?

Yes, you can.
'Man of the Great Potential' is offered at the start of the turn but if you minimize it and reopen it later it gives a message that the man have died.
But in-game when your avatar gets the adoption offer (Man of the Hour) it can be minimized and then leave it there and accepted later.
I think this is because when MotH is offered the avatar is already in game but when MotGP is offered then that character is not ingame yet.
Confusing?![]()
Slightly confusing, yes. But I get the main idea.
So, then... I'm ready to be spawned as a body-guard. Clearly this is a time of crisis. What better time than this to prove myself?

Seriously? Or is that just a death-threat to one of the players?
I'm ready to lead whatever army you can give me, even an army of levies if I must.
I hunger for battle.

Right, then... I'll take Hierax, languorous though he may be.
When do I start?
(And wasn't he supposed to be in Hierosolyma?)

We can't decide where AI spawns these FM's who come of age. They usually should appear in capital though. However we can use console to move him into your desired starting location(that is Hierosolyma) OR you can do it yourself with move_character command. I'm currently not able to do it myself but if no one haven't done it about 2 hours from now then I'll take the save and move Hierax to Hierosolyma.
Cheers very much!
One more question. I understand more or less how the turn-system works (TCV's colourful example in the FAQ was a good 30 seconds' worth of harmless humour) but is there a certain turn we have to follow or does anyone just take the save whenever they have the opportunity?

Yes, everyone takes the save whenever they have the opportunity.
(And I also like TCV's explanation how the turn system works)
So, then... I assume I can take the save myself?
(I'll just need to read on the cheat thread how to move a character from point A to point B)
