What is the most correct word used to describe our "nation"? It's always been bugging me when I have to do that IC and don't know the "correct" way to do it.
Good question.. Greeks? Hellenes?
This is about the Event..
PM me if you like to sabotage someone or if you want to merge your armies with someone. If you like to merge armies then both players (who merge their armies) must confirm that they want to do so. Also if you merge with someone then remember that your armies will move slower than others but it will be more secure to do that.
Also, please give me the route you take: Seleukeia-Edessa-Antiocheia-Damaskos or Seleukeia-Palmyra-Damaskos. The first one is longer but more secure, the second one is shorter but the lack of roads and the presence of rebel settlement will make it more dangerous.
Of course, I wouldn't think of doing it any other way. No problem from my part.Originally Posted by Ibn-Khaldun

We should add victories and losses in the royal library to each characters profile. and other important things

I just noticed this when I tried to update 'History of Arche' that TCV have done a small mistake with the reports. He should make the report about the previous season. At the moment we can read that he is making reports about the current season.
What I mean is that he made report saying "Summer 269" but it actually should be "Spring 269".
Anyway.. I have all the victories written down but yeah they should be mentioned in the Royal Library too. I'll try to contact WH again. If he doesn't then I'll make a new Royal Library. I could ask TC to make changes but there is too much work to be done with it and it's much easier to start a new one. I hope that when the next Council Session starts we have a fully updated Library with us. I just need to find some time to do that.![]()
Gah! Stupid, stupid me. I'll fix that right away.![]()
for some reason the wotb mod doesn't work for me, tried to load it up last night to no avail, any advice?
What is the actual problem? You can't open the saves? Can't recruit RBG's? Can't download it from the link in the Rules?

it CTD's when i try to boot the game up
Weird.. It shouldn't do that! I'm sorry to say this but the only advice I can give you is that you reinstall EB. At the moment I can't think of anything in WotB mod that could cause CTD like that.
Btw.. do you have the 'show_err' command in your EB shortcut? It could give some information about your problem.
This is what I did, you might aswell try it first, rather than doing a bunch of crap for nothing.
grab your saves, put em away somewhere, uninstall and reinstall RTW and EB, make a backup of EB(so you can play vanilla EB) then install WOTB. the fresh install will probably get it to work

think i've got to the bottom of the problem now, the 1.3 patch of R:TW doesn't seem to have installed properly, will be able to test later on but i have to go to the doctors now for more pain-killers and some anti-inflamatories
Err, it's supposed to be played on RTW 1.5. Perhaps that's your problem?![]()
Right, right, you have to install 1.3 and then 1.5. It's so long since I did that so I had forgotten that. Ah well, as long as it's fixed...

I'm using the Gold version so I don't have to worry about those patches
But good to hear that you figured out the problem though!![]()
Edit: never mind.

everything seems to be running smoothly now, am i still in command of the basileus' royal army?

yes!![]()
just wondering because someone else has it in the stauts and orders thread that they are in command
They are part of your Satraps Army. The other part(3 units of phalangitai) are in Persepolis.Originally Posted by Hax

Ah, I see, but that one is obsolete. If we would take the save you uploaded and continue from it, everything else that was done this turn would be lost. So it doesn't work that way. As soon as someone says "taking the save", you have to wait until that person uploads a new save (or says that he didn't do anything).Originally Posted by Roka
As it is, you're too late. When Celtic Punk or Incitatus takes the save and fights the battle, they will upload a new save which I should take. I will then read the messages of the new turn, make a chancellor report and upload the first "real" save for the turn. Your changes will, unfortunately, not have been made, so you will have to do it over again.
feck we got attacked?! well inuctius and i made an agreement, i fight the siege he fights the skirmishes till the siege, he gets king and i get heir.
