The decision was made by the chancellor because 2 allied nations went to war, and it was an "end turn" decision that couldn't be delayed to go into council. Like "Man of Great Potential" adoption offers, those type of scrolls DO NOT survive a save game, even if minimized (I checked).

Ideally the decision should have been taken in a Royal Council, but that would have taken a while. I guess the spot decision was made because it really doesn't matter (they all are going to attack us anyway) and it was expedient.


On an unrelated note, I will be going home tomorrow (yay thanksgiving!) and thus will be away from EB. If someone could move Alexandros north to join the siege of Sinope that would be great. I will still be around here to stay up to date, it will just be from a different computer. I'll be able to resume on Sunday. Thanks.

A large army from Hayasdan is near our new border in Kappadokia Pontike, though they have been respectful and did not cross it, I believe this is the same army that assisted Nikarchos in fighting those rebels.

Moved 1 Pandotapoi Phalangitai from Sidon towards Antiocheia to meet up with 1st Lydian army which has now arrived with General Ankyrikos in Antiocheia and is awaiting retrainment. Also, is the Kleurouchon Phalangitai in Antiocheia for the 1st Lydian chancellor?

Ask the Basileus...he requested that I train the unit, but didn't say what Army it was for. If I had to guess, I'd say most likely, but ask him and make sure.

Btw, since we are at war with the Ptolemaioi then all of their lands are open for conquest. People don't have to ask Basileus' permission all the time.

Okay then and im not sure there were alot of the usual Phalangitai (forgot the name sry) in Sidon so i just took the one that only had one bar of exp. but okay then ill be waiting for retraining.

One of those usual phalangitai from Sidon and Klerouchon Phalangitai from Antiocheia belong to you. Also, Prodromoi unit in Antiocheia belong to the Lydian Army as well.

As you may know, i am writing an AAR about my Character in WotB. I'm planning to write a summary of what happened in the AS and its several wars, so that the reader has an overview over the ambiance in which the character acts.

But it is hardly avoidable to mention some your characters in connection with important battles or with my character himself.


So would you mind if I mentioned your characters from time to time? I do not want to write their stories, this is up to you. But they are an important part of the story of my char, since he's not the only person in the world. I intend to write about some of their actings that concern my character directly or the fate of the AS in the summery, thats all.
