This is the OOC Thread for Will of the Basileus. This thread is designed to be a simple chatroom for WotB players. No important information will ever be posted in here. This thread does not count as a "public thread" for the purposes of the WotB rules. No information posted in this thread will be considered as binding on the Chancellor or Basileus. In short, this thread has no official relationship to WotB in any capacity. It is simply a chatroom.

question: is there a moderator here? IE a local mod? Otherwise I think you should ask for mod powers just in this forum, because even if TC joins he has enough on his plate as it is.

I still ask Andromachos Syriakos the permission to recruit Pandotapoi Phalangitai to his Satraps Army from Persepolis. Also I remind him that Karmana is also part of his Satrpy.

Force diplomacy-lets you "force" diplomacy on the AI, check the thread in the EB sub forum for unofficial mods.
Phalanx mod-check thread in above forum.
Win conditions-may help AI go for more realistic expansion, again see thread in above forum.
AI battle formations mod-better formations, not sure whether it uses Darth or Sinuhets formation. There is a thread in the above forum.
AI money script-I thought this was for previous versions, gives the AI extra money depending on certain factors. Again there is a thread in the unofficial mods forum.

hey punk if you wish to write the tavern night story with my character just message the context and what lines my character has to say, I'll write them, and i'll send some tips about my character (I don't want him drunk or adultering) you can also add Hágárádáz, he can be drunk ^^

are the 2 units of Pantodapoi Phalangitai in Apameia bound for anywhere in particular? if not, may they be inducted into my Satrapal army? what are the rules on switching government types in Satrapies, if there have been any established?

MerlinusCDXX, I noticed your character is pessimistic and already has the gloomy trait. It may be a good idea not to use up all your movement points too often, I'm not sure how bad that trait line can get but I know there is at least one more level. -2 to influence and morale would be a bit of a nightmare for your character.

They are considered part of Parthian Army. I will recruit you your Satrap Army as soon as I get and have the money to do that. I think that later in the end of my Chancellor term you will have your army
If you want to switch the government then mention in your sot what government type you want and in what settlement if you have more than one of them.

johnhughthom it's not up to you to decide if you are accepted in to the family... it's up to your future parent or benefactor to decide -_-

and chaotix it is up to the chancellor to lower the taxes not you, I'm sure he would have done the same as you, but if you are afraid that the chancellor will ignore Side, than edit your SOT or post on the Council or something......

I'm just pointing out the rules you broke, though they aren't serious, I'm just reminding you in case you guys do break some important rules.
I probably am breaking a rule right now :) maybe I should be posting this at a different thread :S

Ibn, I believe I'm up to 6 battle points. Can I reflect this in my title? Or do I need to wait for some official announcement? (also the other thing we discussed)

Indeed.. But you haven't posted the battle result. So.. OOC we know you have 6 but IC we can't be sure whether Lydikes have fought 2 or 3 battles. Also, since you are a Satrap then this doesn't matter that much actually. The powers of Satrap always overwrite the powers of the rank you had before.

I have to say that in the Library thread and Map Room section I will not create this map of EB like you can see the map of MTW2 in LotR. It's too much of a work! I will however create there the Current Extent of the Empire maps.

Ok.. I advertised WotB in EB forum but I'll try to do it in other places too soon.

Also, if you have some friends who might be interested of this then talk to them(read: recruit them ). I think the game is currently in a stage where we have enough experiensed players who can help any of the newcomers.

Moved the 1st Lydian Army (with permission from Chaotix in his absence) east to engage Eleutheroi Army Commanded by Captain Epaphras. They are just north of Tarsos and are blocking the road there. We will reach them next season in time to do battle.

Currently, if navarro fights the battle, then Chaotix' avatar will earn the battle points. It seems a little unfair to me so although it is not in the Rules then perhaps we can solve this problem like this: Battle Points will be divided between the avatars, if the avatar who is second in command will fight the battle.

So, any thoughts? I should have thought about it before.

You don't have any units. Also, you don't have an avatar yet unless you pick the third RBG that was recently recruited. If not then you'll have to wait until another RNG's is recruited so you could pick your avatar from them.
