yes, you're right. maybe we only shoud hold a session, when there are edicts to propose.

I suggest you think an edict you want to propse between the sessions so that you would be ready when a new Council Session starts.

Yes, which is what I meant. As soon as you think of an edict you can't have a Council Session.

It would take sometime to discuss over proposed legislation and then we will have to vaote too. If this is done everytime when someone want to propose an Edict then .. we would be still in year 272 I think.

Although, IF Basileus or Chancellor wants then he can call Emergency Council Session when ever he wants to propose a legislation.

I did not propose to have a Session every time someone has an edict. My proposal is: Every time we should have a Session, you ask here : does someone have an edict ?? And if the answers are "NOPE" we just leave the session out until next time.

It's not just edicts though is it? It is a time to reflect on what has happened, choose a new Chancellor. We either stick to this system or go for something completely different. There is no middle solution.

Just to let everyone know, I will be gone from now until the 12th. It would be great if Alexandros could stick with the 1st Syrian army and take part in the invasion of Egypt, but if he is needed to govern a settlement or something thats fine (just don't get him killed). Now why would I forget something like that? Lions eh, if being the lion means dealing with the squabbling fools of Hellas, then, by all means, have at it. Not for me the squabbling of fools, nor the laughing of hyenas, I prefer the riches of the East, the wealth of tigers and elephants and cobras, oh my. LOL

The Chancellor can use 'Force Diplomacy' only if an Edict have passed with a diplomatic offer to another faction.

"Being the lion" means that you're the king of the savannah, the top dog, the ultimate badass. You can kill anything you want and if someone else gets a kill - like the hyena - you can easily steal it from them by marking your interest in the cadaver. There can only be one lion, though.

"Being the hyena" means being a contender to the "throne", and though you're definitely stronger than the prairie dog or the gazelles, you're simply no match for the lion in a straight fight. You have to be sneaky and smart to keep your claimed prize for yourself, once the lion sets his eyes on it.

"Being the prairie dog" means scraping up the leftovers after the lion and the hyena(s) have eaten their fill.

"Being the gazelle" is simply being someone on the food menu.

Now tell me where the hell your tigers, elephants and cobras enter the equation!
