Neither do I, but how's this: the battle might even be decided this very turn.

I look forward to the next update!

What? When have I ever lied? I'm Truth Incarnate! Why would - no, how could - I lie to you? Your untrusting nature is not necessary.

Yeah, but that still doesn't surprise me as much as the frequency of Danish flags on Bornholm. I had pictured that Scandinavia as a whole was very non-nationalistic, but this makes me question it. Maybe Sweden's the only one. (In Scandinavia, not the world.)

see this is the kind of insane coincidence I am talking about! of course, it still isnt over, and mini still has the troops to bring TCV to his knees. We both have taken pretty heavy casualties TCV, things are winding down.

(actually I will PM you this)

One thing I learned from all these simulations was that Archers are quite useless against heavy infantry(Hypaspistai, Thorakitai, Argyraspides etc.)! Or.. I just don't know how to use them!

yes, I should have really known that. If this was a real battle my screening plan might have worked, but not here. I am happy enough to have almost crushed Sarpedons mighty Phalanx.

God damn it... looks like I missed alot of action...

My pc broke down by the end of April, by the time I got a new one I was really busy with school and exams. I need huge grades to get to study all the way up Scotland :(

I am completely amazed that my character is still alive, I presumed you killed him. Well I'm going to spend my free time to get updated on everything that happened and rejoin as soon as possible.

It would be great if you guys gave me the headlines of what happened!!

the world is ending as we know it. that pretty much sums up the past month

Cp has taken over as Satrap while you were gone, though now you are back that should change. the Epirites have taken Byzantium and killed Swiss Barbar. Me and TCV are having a epic battle in Antioch. and that seems about it... for the abridged version.

Yes - 1.2 is not save game compatible, so we won't be switching to it for this game.

    Welcome back, by the way!

I didn't kill Aratos since I knew that you will come back.

The only place thats going well is Egypt. Because of yours truely... It seems that whereever Cunobelinus and Aratos are things fall into line and place.

yes that must be it...... I wonder......

with the way things are going Ibn may have to extend the round for turn four. Negotiations may not be over..... (may have jumped the gun and made assumptions TCV, sorry, unless I am right in which case prepare for the endgame!)

Hey, Cunobelinus is an amazing general. He's never ever lost a battle. And has a string of victories that were quite against the odds.

I have two EB folders right now. One named EB (with v1.2) and a second one named WotB (with v1.1 and WotB mod).
Now what? I have Vista btw...

I've tried adding -mod:WotB -show_err to the RomeTW.exe on the start menu, but the game that it opens is still v1.2.

yes I had a hard time having 1.1 and 1.2
I said bollocks to 1.2 until WOTB finishes. Which I hope won't be for a long long long time.
I suggest you take the same road Kingsnake.

Also, CDF I swear to God I will sack Babylon and every other city you are in possession of if you don't respect mah authoritah!

i've got like 4 or 5 different EB folders :)

Thing is, you have to start with a clean, RTW folder, patched to 1.x (cant remember which patch EB uses)

This folder you can copy as many times as you want on your HD, just be sure you rename them in a fashion you can remember what folder is which :)

then you can start installing different mods in each folder.
    Really easy.

Default Re: OOC Thread and Chatroom

meh I managed to install it my way long time ago but don't remember -_-

okay but is it the RomeTW.exe that is to be changed and have -mod:X -show_err thing added, right?

EDIT: Nope the problem is not solved.

I am extracting the zipped WotB, anyone know where the installer is?
