Moving the Lydian Army to Ipsos for retraining. I left one akontistai in Side to keep the peace. If it's all right, I'll just take the akontistai in Sardis with me on my way to Halikarnassos.

Just noticed this. You can't take that akontistai unit in Sardis since it is part of the Sardis garrison. You need the permission of TCV to take it.

well an update on my fried FX 5500...so i burnt out that graphics card and im awaiting my new power supply for my real nice new one so ive been unable to take the save as my comp will just crash with out its power supply to run my new card, so my friend gave me his old FX 5200 which can run RTW so-so so i am no back in and will be awaiting orders. I understand there is a large Ptol. force near us with a few fam members there and was wondering what will happen next with the Lydian Army as i am now serving with them....thanx again for moving me Ibn

Moving the Lydian Army, with General Ankyrikos, towards Ipsos for retraining. (This is allowed, correct? If he wants to travel with the army I'm allowed to move him with it? If not, then I apologize, we can revert back to the previous save, and Ibn-Khaldun can move me for this turn.)

His SOT allows you to move him so everything is OK.

EDIT: Btw.. after this turn second Council session will take place! So you can't take the save before the new Chancellor declares it open!

Though I could have moved just your avatar to Antiocheia but then I thought that you wanted to stay with the Army and didn't move them at all.

It's good to see some truelly heated discussions in the Council! This is why I like this game!

Another thing.. Currently we have some really active players and others checking the game ones in a while. But I'm confident that this game can support more players. So perhaps contacting some friends of yours who might like this kind of role-playing EB pbm isn't a bad idea?

How about a recruitment post in the EB forum, there are bound to be a few who missed it first time around, and a few who were sceptical may have a look in here and see that it looks like it will last more than a few turns.

Another thing.. What happened in Royal Council and why Lykikos couldn't propose the CA...
This is acrually one of the reasons why those 'Satraps Aid' positions were created actually. Satrap and his Aid can discuss with each other and when the Aid have a CA proposal that he can not propose himself then the Satrap can do it for him. Also for a Satrap who have an Aid can make sure that he have at least one vote for his Edict/CA.

To be honest I-K if you want new people to join the game scrapping amendments due to technicalities is not the way to do things. I totally understand why you did it but the game is still in its infancy and it can take away some of the fun. You mentioned earlier heated discussions have started, my reasoning behind this edict was to inflame these argument and hopefully create some factions in the game. I'm a bit disappointed it won't happen but I'll do it again next council session.

Seriously though, I would have liked to see someone else take up the challenge against me to become Chancellor. It would have been better I think, and besides, I only really stood up because I was explicitly asked to do so, since no one else was.

johnhughthom I understand why you proposed that Edict. But I think I explained how the new people without the required rank can propose them. I think I should have explained the Satrap/Satrap Aid situation before. So if anyone have any questions about that or about anything else then just ask!

My fault for not reading the rules I-K, gives us 3 years to fine tune the edict. Hopefully the Alexandria edict will give us all the arguments we need anyway.

You sure I-K? Kingsnake intended to vote no which would make it 4-6 and Navarro951 seems to have voted yes and no so we need to find out what he intended to vote. The extra influence you and The Celtic Viking have would mean no wins by 1 vote at the moment. Unless once again I totally misunderstand the rules...

It depends how navarro951 voted. Also some of the people haven't voted yet. So there is still a possibility that it will pass.
