Many thanks to Hooahguy for this great sig.
Well I really hope it goes a little faster as soon as we get over this turn ^^
Don't worry SwissBarbar, It usually gets done in 24 hours. It's just this time we have had toooo many battles to fight and peoples RL have kept them away from this game.
Incitatus, like Alerion said - not all heroic victories are famous victories.
You won battle against the rebels. That's 2 Bp's. But you retreated when the Ptolemaioi attacked your army, this counts as a defeat. I took it as a Clear Defeat.Originally Posted by Roka
Actually this part in the rules are quite fuzzy. So I would propose in the next Royal Council Session this CA:
Following lines will be added to the Rule 2.5:
To get to the next rank(Rule 2.4) every Strategos must get certain amount of 'battle points'. If you retreat from the battle, with out fighting it, it will be counted as 'Close Defeat'. How many 'battle points' 1 battle gives are shown below.
"Crushing Defeat" -3 points
"Clear Defeat" -2 point
"Average Defeat" -1 point
"Close Defeat" 0 point
"Close Victory" 1/2 point
"Average Victory" 1 point
"Clear Victory" 2 points
"Heroic Victory" 3 pointsNo.Originally Posted by Celtic_Punk

why count it as close defeat, maybe you just draw back to gain better battle position, an ordered retreat must not be a shame.
i pledge for counting it not at all, wich would mean the same for the Battle points, because a close defeat makes no difference

WotB: Timarchos Anaias Mysiakes, marching round the arche beating up rebels
LotR: Lisas Attaliedas, currently in reserve
no heroic defeat, only close.
