I don't know. Technically I should be the only one to make them, since I am the Basileus, but if they have to be made, then the heir should definitely be the one to make them now. It's up to I-K, I guess.

You don't have to make them. It just helps people to understand where are their reinforcements or what units have been recruited and where.
Must say that this thing with your PC happened in a very bad time.

So the headaches caused by my computer has now become trans-Baltic, hmm? Not good at all.

To add to the pain, I notice now that I forgot to make the battle report about the battle when I slew the Ptolemaic king. I can still make a semi-haphazard one, based upon the screens I took (I have one I like quite a lot, where Sarpedon looks straight down at where the corpse of the Ptolemaic king lies, just after cutting him down), but it would be shorter than usual.

But perhaps that's a good thing.

OOC: Ibn, would it be legally okay if I gave him one of the thureophoroi that was replaced by the thorakitai in my army, or do they need to actually be raised in the satrapy?

Units gained through Influence and Command must be raised in the Satrapy. For RP purposes these units are locals who have joined the army only because their Satrap holds some Influence over them. Other units, the core of Satrap Army, can be recruited elsewhere. If one of those core units will be disbanded(Satrap can do it if he wants) then you can give him that Thureophoroi.

I never asked for Thureophoroi from elsewhere and Ipsos is grown, a new towncenter underconstrucion, so the units can be recruited there. Ipsos is a city where any kind of unit available to us can be recruited anyway, no need to recruit them elsewhere

I have to say that kingsnake got very well developed cities. Militarily he can use his Command and Influence to get some of the best units in this game(Even though his Satrapal core is only Pandotapoi and such)!!

About my Satrap I don't mind the 2 pantodapoi and the 2 thureophoroi to form the basis of the infantry army, but I don't accept the jewish spearmen. It will be a pain in the ass to retrain them, so instead of waisting experienced units, they should go back to their land and reinforce some garrison.

navarro, as our current Chancellor should recruit them for you(even though you are a Satrap now). Those were Klerouchoun Phalangitai units(or what ever they are called )?

No I haven't got them, but I stated in the Emergency Council that the training of the two Babylonian Armies should come first, before the bodyguards and the rest of the Satrapal Army.

In that battle report I saw only 7 units though. So I guessed that 1 missile unit is missing but apparently they are not(they are retraining in Alexandria/Memphis?).
