With Satrap's army - yes, it has to be an Aid. I think once Kleonemos have studied a bit in Antioch he will go to Egypt then. I've heard that there is some sort of 'Library' in Alexandreia.![]()

I will guard Memphis and Alexandria as best I can and I don't expect anything to get through.
As for the battle report, my unit of slingers had routed so their card wasn't there at the bottom of the screen. You can see all 8 units in the second screen.

I think that script destroys them. I suggest before doing any moves check settlements and make sure governments are not destroyed. If they are then reload the save again.Originally Posted by TCV
Yeah, I know the script destroys them for sure if you activate the script first when you play as, say, the Arverni and then load/start a save as any other faction and activating the script for them, without restarting EB first. But not from just loading a save and activating the script when it's the first time since you started up EB, not AFAIK anyway. But then I would wonder why it's just some of our government buildings that are damaged 100% and not all. It could be assassins, but I've rarely had the AI go against my generals with them, and never had them go after my buildings.![]()

I doubt that this is the work of assassins. I think I allow the Chancellor to use 'add_money' cheat to compensate repairing of those destroyed governments.
Also, since I'm going to move to another place in RL then I might be out of reach from 5th to 12th March. I'm not sure how long it will take to get Internet there.![]()
I must unfortunately resign for at least one week. Something has come up in my family that was well, unforeseen. I will be gone for a day and will need some time after that as well. I assume Sarpedon can just take over for the last two turns as Chancellor. I apologize, as i said it is something unforseen.
If it's real life and family stuff then I understand.
The Celtic Viking, You as the Basileus will take the position of Chancellor for the next couple of turns.
I would like to end those turns as fast as possible so that we could start the Council Session.![]()

Give me 45 minutes and I'll take the save and do it then.
Doh! And I just sent you PM about this!
Edit: Could you add 2 more RBG's into recruitment queue of Seleukeia?

Guys! Do you realize what day this is? It's the Holy Day! It's the day that our Holy Saint and Saviour™ was born! Exactly (well, give or take a couple of minutes) 21 years ago the miracle happened and He Who Will Save the Faithfuls' Lives™ came to earth: me! It's my birthday! Laugh, drink, party and be merry, for this is a global day of joy!
(By the way, am I weird because I was unsure of my age, and used to think I was turning 22?)
Happy Birthday TCV!![]()
Happy birthday!

Thank you, both. Sorry for not being here more yesterday, but at least you know why.![]()
Due to low activity I will expand this Council Session 2 days. That's until 10:00 GMT Sunday 1st March!
honestly there isnt that much to discuss, nothing has really changed from the emergency council session...

True, but with the beginning of this Council session all edicts from the previous Council Session(including Emergency Council session) are no longer valid. So, new edicts/permanent edicts must be proposed to the next Chancellor term.
ohh, thats irritating.....

The solution is Permanent Edict.
Edit: Also, we need Chancellor!

Hermokrates would be running, but damned schoolwork for the rest of next week is preventing me from making him say "I shall be running for chancellor"![]()
It's pretty much the same with Sarpedon as well. Real life is now taking its toll on me.![]()
Gah! And I'm busy with moving to my new home and Kleonemos can't run for chancellor since he is Satraps Aid and he is just a Strategos!![]()
I'm sorry but I'll ask some time before we can declare this Council Session over. Because of the reasons I explained above I'm unable to update library and do all the GM stuff I should.
So, I ask you to be patient and forgive me if this is causing some problems for you!![]()
So, I'm back.
Current Council Session will end 2200 GMT tomorrow, Wednesday March 4th.
alright good to know. by the way good luck in the battle of Edessa, it looks like you are going to need it.

To settle the deal between Romans and Greeks once and for all... both Italy and Greece are in deep s*** at the moment. Do you really think who had the biggest spear in antiquity makes any difference?
this is probably the longest council session so far. already lasted over a week.
at least I'm still preoccupied with BtSH.
yeah, hopefully things will pick up

Might as well point out for the guys who don't spend time in the BtSH forum that my EB comp is busted again. I've talked to CP and hopefully he'll be able to command my army in my IG absence, but there won't be any Basileus reports for a while.
