yeah it would be suicide to try and keep this powder keg together, right now it is just fear of Sarpedons wrath that keeps everyone in line, if I took over I would be overthrown faster then you can say "legitimate heir to the throne". Plus I am quite happy with my little kingdom.... but really does anyone know the odds of me beating Sarpedon?

I'll give you some troops, so your character can get some experience, every little bit helps. I'll start leaving instructions in my SOT post starting tomorrow or so. Take a look at my units and see what you prefer (don't take all my tough guys though .) Should we start our own Satrapy of Parthava thread? What do you think?

Parthava is the name of the satrapy ie. Satrapy of Parthava. Satrapy is a Ancient Persian word for State or Province. A Satrap is the Governor of that State or Province.

Which phalanx did you take? As long as I have at least 1 of my Pez. we're cool. I'm gonna have you take some troops back to H-pylos for retraining, and then we head towards A-Margiane. Just take the road from H-pylos, you should get there about the same time as I do slogging through the woods.

heh, if the pez. were the better phalanx sorry, but if I remember right they and all the phalanx took the least causalities it was the archers and bodyguard that took the brunt of the deaths. I'm all out of movement so you'll have to wait for the next turn to get them back.

That's ok, at least you took the initiative to go fight those guys. I'm about to take the save and end the turn (in about an hour or so, maybe less, depends on when I get to my main comp).

by the way Ibn since your part of my army could you do the moving instead? I won't be able to get onto the EB computer till noonish (its 4am now... god damn My sleeping is all messed up. Been like this since I got back from last field exercises I've been sleeping in 2 hour spurts ever since.) Do you think you could cross the border, hammer those 2 pitiful armies (they'll probably scamper off rather than engage us) and make way to the town and lay siege. (camp if we cant make it, since scaring away those 2 armies is 1st priority at this time) I'd like the army moved before the next turn, we can't waste any time in defeating the last of the Ptolemoi. Tight schedule here people! Vite Vite Vite!

I'll probably move Kallinikos Syriakos to open avatar section since Il_Duce never actually played that character. Also, Kallinikos is quite young and with good traits.

It worked just fine, you now have most of my Army, since it seems Hekatompylos needs either you or me in command without rioting. You may have to go as fast as you can to Alexandreia-Ariane to keep it from rioting when Mithikon gets removed from there. Satrapy Thread is now up-check often, more details on new plan there.

The capture of Byzantium and the loss of Nikarchos comes as a surprise to me! With his death there is no Satrapy in Mikra Asia anymore unless TCV appoints a new person to that job. I'll change Library with these changes.

It's not as bad as it seems, Nole. Now that navarro951(Panaitolios) is back, we've got someone to deal with things over there, and I'm gonna reinforce him. He'll be able to deal with the Maks if he's careful.

OOC: Didn't know about posting in the Mausoleum, I thought that thread was maintained by I-C. I will post in there when anyone dies from now on, though the last time I had to report a death as the chancellor I just put the info in my chancellor's report and I-K took care of posting it ( I think he was still King then). It isn't my fault that you don't read chancellor's reports.

That is indeed the gamemaster's responsibility completely, and I wasn't turning to you specifically. I was turning to those scribes, or whatever Ibn would like to call them, who keep the notes in it. I suspected that you might misinterpret what I said to be referred to you, and tried to show that by making Hilarion then turn to you personally, but apparently I was still not clear enough on that point.

No biggie. Yeah, not knowin' about Nikarchos being Satrap was my screwup, sorry. And I probably overreacted with the "severely understrength" statement. I just meant that his army was lookin' a bit mangled. I'll just start intensively recruiting the closest available stuff for Panaitolios. Since I don't know if he's actually going to fight his battles out, I guess I'll try to make his army "auto-resolve friendly".

Celtic Punk - Have you said what bodyguard units you want? You can have what ever unit that is available in Paraitonion(you became Strategos Hetairos there).

Actually, I have no reason to take the save, Merlinus when you take the save if you could please move the Pezhetairio from Selukeia to minis army, and the Jewish Spear men from Babylon minis army, again. (no other moves please)
