but the King cannot take your units away from you. That would fall under that clause in the rules. If they did fall beyond 15 that would mean that the King is taking them away, and would therefore be in breach of the Charter.

Well, in any case a Hetairos can only have 2 bodyguard units, and this isn't changed by someone losing and then regaining the rank. You don't get a +2 bodyguards for gaining the rank, you simply get a set maximum amount of 2.
If you loose your rank (Strategos Hetairos) then you become Strategos Epilektos and thus you can not have any special units with you.
The Basileus can not take those units away from you or do anything with them as long as you are Strategos Hetairos.
So, try to keep your rank and also, tell us what units you want?
Another thing. Could someone please tell me what units does Aratos' Satrapies Army have?
I've got a bodyguard recruited already. It's currently stationed with my Son till I call upon them. I'll get a list to you ASAP.

, I am glad I merit one line of mention in the council. I am surprised you guys haven't gotten rid of me yet, I am screwing up everything! If I hadn't rebelled then the royal army could have went north to Perganum already, and half of the disasters you have all went through would have never happened.

Lol I dont think sarpedon will forget you so easilly. I think he's going crazy, and Hilaron is trying to get power in his absence. Someone should deal with Hilarion.

Almost correct. If you need to know, Hilarion has actually murdered Sarpedon already, and that's why he can't attend. Whenever "Sarpedon" leads his army, it's really just Hilarion dressed up in his skin.
But remember, this is said OOC, so you can't use it IC.![]()
Lol!![]()
I knew something was up when you wouldn't supply my wanton conquest of the Desert... Cunobelinus digs the turban(he aparently likes foreign people). haha

Hilarion is left confused as to how he has treated me wrong.
Actually, the way this Edit is proposed(I think it's just a coincident) there is no word that would mention that Cunobelinus will become Satrap. He will still stay an Aid but can recruit/build what ever he wants. He does not receive Satraps influence or power to propose unlimited number of edicts etc. If this edict would've been proposed differently I would've been against it.Hilarion turns to some of the scribes in the Council. ([OOC] read the GM.[/OOC])
"It is to my understanding that edict 9.1 can't be passed, since it is the Basileus alone who appoints satraps and satrapies, and they cannot be inherited. Unless I am mistaken, it is thus impossible to have an edict that would effectively hand over a satrapy to a different man."
Although I seconded it, I must say that a certain time should be added(until kingsnake is back or the next 3 years) to that edict.
My objection was completely IC (Sarpedon doesn't trust Cunobelinus, and wish to stop it that way), so you should probably answer it in the Council. OOC I have no problem with it.

And I thought that you were against it OOC because of that GM mentioning.![]()
things heat up once again! This game is starting to get really interesting.
what stinks is I am alone to enjoy it. Everyone is away till June 12, Mini can only be on every once in a while, and iskander had to quit PBM's. I need some recruitment schemes.....

Yes, it is. But you can't be part of these heated arguments in the Council since you are rebel. ~;P
EDIT:
That would leave only 2 people on your side CDf. This also means his character will be open. I'll change Library tomorrow.Originally Posted by Cultured Drizzt fan

How many management points does Arrhenides have?
used to have one. Now its disappeared. which is retarded. In any case, He delegates tasks rather than directly figuring out maths stuff. (which is what you are supposed to do)
we should keep the satrapy. Its still a valid satrapy, The satraps just need to change.

I know what you mean, I have had the gloomy trait for about 3 years now, and it has basically meant I cant get any damn influence! And now I am a warmonger, so I basically will suck at ruling anything for the rest of my life!

same... Which is why i don't pay much mind to ingame traits. My character has developped much differently. I mean he has 1 command, but he's never lost a battle, and has beaten battles so stacked against him that he should have like 6-10 command. He also hates slaves, but i have a slave trader retinue (WHICH NEEDS TO BE TIED UP WITH PIANO WIRE!!! HELLOOOOOOO)

Then you can't be the satrap of this satrapy regardless. You need to have at least 2 management points to have 2 settlements as a satrap, anything less and you can only have one.
Ibn, if Arrhenides becomes the satrap, can I get to choose which settlement the satrapy will lose?
I think if the man has no management influence should be used instead. does this make sense? I mean it's possible for a satrap to delegate tasks so he is not burdened with skills and tasks that management points cover. Influence makes sense because teh more settlements under his control would require enough influence to keep happy and such anyway. (plus the ability to convince people to do the maths work and such)
