Hello people, sorry I havent been on in the last few days, internet has gone whack... and it seems its going to be that way, as the cable company seems to have foprgotten we exist lol. So I just wanted to tell you guys so you don't think I abandonned you, and don't rely on me to get things done :)

I think we need to start advertising to get more players. Especially in the EB forum. there's only a few of us left... We used to have about 13-14 people each council session. Now its about 5 of us.

It also doesn't help that we have active players excluded from the council sessions. But I would agree with some advertising, 3 or 4 more people could liven things up a lot. And maybe we should remind people who have been absent a while.

I'm happy to go anywhere the action is. Defending our borders from nomads sounds interesting.

I'll have to take a look at the save. I see the game uses EB 1.1 while I have 1.2. ANyone have any idea if the WOTB mod will work with the latter? With dialup redownloading EB will take a long, long time...

the east is definitely sparsely populated, has been for a while. It might be good to have some people over there.
I am not sure whether the mod works, have never tried it before.... may be worth a shot though.

Asia Minor is a bit more critical than the East ATM (@ war with Makedonia), but I'm planning a recapture of lost territory in the East and a possible punitive expedition into nomad territory.

Zim, as has been said, if you want action, the best bet is Mikra Asia at the moment. With Navarro being... unreliable... we need another general there.

Mikra Asia it is then. I will test whether the WOTB mod works over EB 1.2 tonight. If not I'll have to redownload EB overnight on my dialup, but I should be able to choose a general shortly. Can they be teleported by console when chosen in this game? If not I'll need to try to pick one at least moderately close to Mikra Asia.
