I wonder what hermokrates would do if Patrokles somehow lost and died in battle.
before that, I wonder what he could do. I don't think he could seize power even if he wanted to.

steal all the money and run. probably find some way to get back in Sarpedons good graces. its what most normal people would do.
you can have Selukeia by the way, if we win. Full control over Construction there, basically a satrap.

unfortunately, I don't think hermokrates knows of that, so he's still hoping sarpedon would win so that hermokrates could somehow seize power/beg for mercy.
also, Patrokles also doesn't know of what hermokrates thinks (or myself for that matter), so fortunately for me, hermokrates is still safe, lazing in Seleukeia.

I know, it was a joke
I kind of left you out of the loop about what is going to happen after Sarpedons defeated, so I imagined what I would do in that situation.

It won't be my problem unless you take it upon yourself to go to Mesopotamia. I know your plan CP, but I don't see myself coming out on top in it and so I must decline. I am going to let the next Basileus deal with it, you can work something out with him.
sorry but that is how its got to be. you may be in luck if TCV tries to run though.. I have not won yet, TCV still has a few tricks up his sleeve. It may not even come to all that. NO hard feelings though, all business.
