This is just a reminder. If you don't send your orders then you'll miss the chance to move and gather units this turn. This will hurt TCV the most.

Also, I haven't heard anything from navarro or everyone.
Would like to know whether they join the Event or not. Battles are guaranteed

I am completely amazed that my character is still alive, I presumed you killed him. Well I'm going to spend my free time to get updated on everything that happened and rejoin as soon as possible.

I think that may have happened again. This leaves me no other option than to declare kingsnake neutral.

Since he put me in charge of the Satrapy's army I should still be able to rally it in its entirety without a loyalty check.

No, you should not. Aratos "declared" himself neutral and you then declared yourself a rebel, which effectively means that you broke from him. In other words, since his satrapal army went neutral with him, what happened was that you 'stole' the units that were under your direct command from him, but obviously you could not steal the units that were with Aratos in Alexandreia. They were still neutral, and not under your command any more.

The loyalty checks were thus correct.

TCV is right on this one.

If there would've been any captain led stacks in Memphis region and you would've catch them with full movement then there wouldn't be any loyalty checks for those units.

Also, at the moment I didn't disband/merge any units but when a battle occurs I will do it since it's almost impossible to represent half strength units in tabletop simulation battles.
So, I think it would be better if you yourselves could tell me what units to disband or merge rather than me deciding that on my own.

I'll post this turns summary soon. I had everything written but stupidly closed that window and lost it all.

EDIT: I'll have the map for the battle and other stuff ready tomorrow morning(about 12 hours from now).
I have a little problem with one of the armies involved and once I have cleared that things should be OK.

I've read and understood the battle thread, but I have an objection. When CDf attacked me, I had positioned myself on a bridge but I didn't get a bridge battle. However, now when you've moved him onto a ford, CP gets a ford battle? That doesn't seem fair to me.

IIRC then you didn't say back then that you want to stay where you are(on the bridge). Thus, when CDf attacked you I took a rough middle from both sides.

Celtic Punk told me that he wants to stay where he was. Though, if you look at the "Situation" picture then you see that I have moved the battle location on the next river crossing.

I'm sorry if this sounds unfair but this is the downside of not having 2-hostile-armies-on-adjacent-squares(old LotR) system. Since we are using 2-hostile-armies-in-the-same-province system then battle locations will not be the same where your armies are on the campaign map.

How could I have known that I actually had to say I wanted to stay on the bridge? The rules don't say anything about it, and you have never said anything about it either (not that I've seen, anyway), so I naturally assumed that it would be fought on the defender's location. That seems logical enough, even if you don't have to be right next to each other to fight. Considering that I had stood still on that bridge without moving for at least a season prior to the battle, and I was talking about a bridge battle in here before you posted that map...

It doesn't sound unfair now that you've explained your reasoning, but I still think I should at least have a choice not to attack even if I can, something that I think you should implement for the KHPBM. Being in the same province should just mean you can fight a battle, not that you have to.

If I cannot do that now, then I should still be able to withdraw like mini did in our battle, and I might just have to do that. It's not as 'epic' as a battle would be, sure, but these are terms I won't accept battle on.

If you think that you can't win the battle after advanced guards(or all armies) have been placed then you can withdraw. If you don't want to fight the battle then you don't have to fight it. In that case you will retreat into nearest province that you control. I don't want to force you to do something that you don't want or something that could hurt your avatar.

And I agree that I should have explained how I chose the battlefield when you and CDf fought.
For the KHPBM this should be made clear.

EDIT: Also, from now on battle will be fought in a place where defending side is located. When you send me your order PM's then just mention if you want to take a specific spot in a province where you moved.

That non-word version was just a copy of Arrhenides' troops/divisions and that's all. I should send him a file where all divisions from other players are marked as well!
I'll do that tomorrow first thing when I come back from work(I'll send a copy of it to TCV as well then).
