    Default Reunion

    Serious question...

What do you think the possiblity of a Backroom reunion one day? I mean, this things be going on for almost 10 years now. Don't you think it would be cool to all hook up somewhere in Europe or New York City for a big ass party? I know the logistics would be a mother, but I think it might be doable or am I just hopped up on vicadin for these damn kidney stones? Whats your opinion...

    How about Ireland?
I'm sure Tribesy would like to invite us all.

Otherwise, I doubt everybody could afford it, if I were a millionnaire I'd get tickets for everybody and book a hotel or something, but unfortunately I'm just a student.
Basically, if we'd do it in Europe, I'd try to come, otherwise, bit hard.

I'm all for Europe. This would be one of things we'd have to plan, I'd say 5 years in advance so we could start saving. How much would it costs our Irish, Brit, and Scot members to go over to Germany for a weekend? Isn't Germany about as centralised as we can get, or possibly Belgium?

Or maybe Dutchistan, since the Org is very Dutchie heavy and it is in central Europe.

I'm down, no question about that!

If we have it in continental europe, we other euros can just drive there, no problem... For those who would have problems with getting the money for a flight(like you aussies), well, we others could just chip in a little, say 20 bucks each...

I think it might be really, really hard to get the Euros and the Ozzies and the Yanks all into the same room. Just issues of cost.

What we really need is a billionaire to become a member, so's he can sponsor a reunion.

Our reunion has to be something memorable, something we'll never forget, something that will bring Orgahs together and hold a special place in our hearts.

Or, in short, let's invade Sealand.

I bet they don't have a good supply of booze there.

Of course, we could conquer it and make it the headquarters of The Org, from which we could wage war on scientology's Sea Org.

Okay, to get slightly more realistic, here's mys suggestion:

An Org rally point is assigned on all major continents -- North America, South America, Europe, Ostralyah and Asia. We make the rally points as central and easy-to-get-to as possible. I'm guessing that we would only need three at the end of the day, Merica, Yurup and Ostralyah.

Anyway, we set up three-way videoconferencing at all three sites. We settle on a time, and everyone arrives at their rally location, gets roaring drunk, yells into the videoconferencing.

Sounds like a plan to me.

There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

    Texas isn't big enough.... sorry...

Anyway, what's the difference between flying from Aussie to Europe, and Aussie to the US? If the latter is a lot cheaper, the US sounds like a much better plan to me...

Heh, and if someone has a big-ass house, we could save a lot of cash on hotels, for those in need...

The exchange rate is much better, but still it is way too much money.
