    Default Removing surnames

I'd like to toggle the surnames that some characters obtain if they gain certain traits, for instance in my second Seleukid campaign the faction leader Theodoros Syriakos has become Theodoros the Navigator and I'd like to remove that "the Navigator" and restore Syriakos, or at least modify the name and replace it with another surname (i.e. "Megas" since I/he conquered many lands or similar). I don't know how to do this so I ask you for any advice.

    Code:
        Level Dacian_Lives_For_War
            Description Dacian_Lives_For_War_desc
            EffectsDescription Dacian_Lives_For_War_effects_desc
            GainMessage Dacian_Lives_For_War_gain_desc
            Epithet Dacian_Lives_For_War_epithet_desc
            Threshold 32

            Effect TroopMorale 4
            Effect Influence 3
            Effect TrainingUnits 3
Remove the red line for the trait in question. Not entirely sure if it's savegame compatible.

Instead of directly removing the line, I simply disabled that by adding a ; at the start of the string, however the savegame crashed to desktop even after removing the ; (I had to restore the file, which is the trait-mod one, by replacing it). I don't know if I should have completely removed the line in order to avoid crashing and I did a mistake by putting that ;.
    However, thanks. ;)

Don't ever use Notepad when editing EDCT. See frequent issues.

Well, if you put in a ; and then removed it, and it still crashes, you've messed up the encoding. Use something else to edit it, like Notepad++.
