Bad news - I tried to run the mod but regardless of the campaign era I select it crashes before even the main menu screen shows up =( sometimes I see a very brief flicker of the loading screen but usually just black and then gone...

Which version did you download (lite or non-lite) and what did the error log say?
4 Seasons (6 Empires battle for supremecy); 3.0 version
    Total War Eras (start at 970, 1080, 1200, 1300, 1400, or 1500); 2.4 version
Eras Total Conquest (start at 1230, 1346, 1547); 1.2 version

I downloaded the non-lite version. The log was as follows:

    Code:

Other people have been getting that error as well (though I'm not getting it). It's most likely caused by the 'Sudanese_Gunners' not being present in the 'eras\data\unit_models\battle_models.modeldb' (which is weird since they're a vanilla unit and I've never tried to remove them). I'll try to upload my 'battle_models.modeldb' file, so people can test it.

UPDATE: Go here and download the 'battle_models.rar':
    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...51#post2641851

Unpack this file and put the 'battle_models.modeldb' in the 'eras\data\unit_models' folder (default location 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\eras\data\unit_models').

Let me know whether this works or not.

Yes that file worked :) Thankyou! I shall do some more play testing.

I've already noticed, though, that the regional voices have gone even more askew - England uses the Mediterranean voice now? =\

Is the link for the non-lite version. The first paragraph explains how it is different from the lite version.
