    Default Sea Kayaking?

Do any of you banjos ever do any sea kayaking? I have been kayaking for about 20 years + it's definitely my passion in life!

Sea and lake kayaking in Canada? What are you, my long lost brother?

    What kayak do you have?

I am really into the greenland stuff for the most part, but I have lots of boats. I have a Nordkapp for expeditions, and a Pintail for surfing and playing around in (both by VCP in the UK). I also have an Ottersports Angmagssalik from the UK (see picture and my smiling face), and last but not least: I have a wicked Black Pearl from Björn Thomasson designs in Sweeden.

Like a quiver of arrows, you just reach for the right one...

I'm a little more of a lake kayaker than a sea kayaker simply due to proximity of the waterways, and I have a thing for Dagger kayaks.

Good to see you Kurando! I haven't kyaked on a regular basis for years. As teens, my friends and I used to cruise Lake Erie all the time. During spring when many area creeks and rivers were in flood we'd have a blast. I miss my old Hobie torpedo. Wish we lived near the ocean I'd like to try that.

Good to see you too old friend. Yeah, me and you would be a pair out on the water eh? A couple of of old skool prison guards eskimo rollin and such... But hey, it beats being up a tree waiting for lightning to strike.

It's really good to see you man.

    Hello Kurando,

Never been in a kayak myself. Been in a so called Canadian canoe in a Dutch delta, does that count?

I kayak on the local lake every once in a while. I don't do it too often because of school and a hot, humid Florida day doesn't seem to enjoyable. If I'm on the Ocean, it's just great though.

    Have you just been dumped?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.

I like sea kayaking, very good for insurance scams that involve faking my own death...
