What music do you listen to when playing?

What music do you prefer when playing EB? What kind? What gives you the rush when commanding huge armies in the battlefield?

Don't get me wrong, I like allot listening to EB music, but Hard Rock/Metal just gives me so much more motivation when playing...

Well, I usually listen to the EB stuff, but when playing Medieval 2 (especially when playing Arab factions), I'm listening to the German medieval band "Faun".

Ive never listened to the EB music (no offence! sure its great) But i've always listened to my own music on every game that I play, having itunes opened in the background.

Depends what mood im in, but usually, dub, dubstep, reggae, darkstep dnb or breakcore, or something of the sort.

I doubt i'd play for as long as I do if i listened to the EB music though, the time it takes to end turns of my game I need a distraction!

good tune. gives yah chills up yer spine! If I'm in a relaxed mood ill throw something like that on while I'm playing EB. this song especially lends a very certain ambiance. I first heard it off the Grey Wolves Expansion mod for Silent Hunter 3, they made it the maintitle theme. good song for uboats too.
Otherwise I'm rockin the EB tunes or some Stones (Keith Richards cannot be killed by conventional weaponry)

Well, personally I despise music and absolutely cannot stand any kind of music. However, I do listen to EB music, as I did with RTW music, which I both thought were great. Other from those I also sort of like the Gladiator theme song. However, the reason why I like these three kinds of music is because I am a huge history buff and a huge EB fan, not necessarily because I like music. Since the day I was born, I have not voluntarily listened to a song myself. If I was to listen to EB music before I actually got to play EB, I would think it was horrible (no offense) because that's simply what I think about any kind music in general.

During game I listen to Vanilla scores with best EB instrumentals (some were, IMHO, terrible as soundtracks, while other ones sounded pretty good), some scores of Andreas Waldetoft taken from the demo of Europa Universalis: Rome* (plus some from EU3) and two short "desertic" tracks of Martin O' Donnel and Mike Salvatori from Myth: the Fallen Lords (used for Tension Background Music with the original ones).

Just about anything by ES Posthumus works well for EB. I also like going with power metal: Blind Guardian, Stratovarius, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Hammerfall, Falconer, Dragonforce, and Rhapsody are my favorites.
