Beat rebel army south-west of Asaak (sorry for stealing your thunder LordofUmbar, I did ask permission last turn). My character got a man of the hour adoption, which I accepted. Character and Asaak garrison moved back into city.

I have captured and occupied Side in the name of the Basileus. Taxes were set to low as the populace would riot otherwise. The First Lydian Army has taken light casualties.

Basileus/Chancellor Report, Spring 270

First of all I must say that I can not recruit the requested cavalry unit, Asiatikoi Hippakontistai, for Sarpedon Syriakos' Royal Army since we don't have the proper training facilities to do that. Also Prodromoi unit is in Antiocheia and Sarpedon have the right to move them into his army. Also Captain Alexis and his Ioudaioi Taxeis unit are part of his army too and can be merged with it.

I disbanded that depleted unit of Slingers in Damaskos.

Moved Panaitolos Ankyrikos towards Side just as he requested.

Some other news..

We are allied to Romanoi in the west. We also have trade rights and we sold them map information for 1500 mnai.

We also exchanged map information and trade rights with the distant steppe barbarians called Sauromatae.

'Destroyed' the government type in Hekatompylos and will change it to the one Satrap of Parthava asked.

I also 'destroyed' Ptolemaioi government types in Side and Tarsos. Will change them soon as well.

Started to build temple for Apollo in Prophthasia. I did this because there wasn't enough money to recruit units. I also hope that this temple will pacify some of the locals and the loyalty of the people wouldn't be 'Disillusioned' anymore!

The Most Advanced Kingdom in the known world is Safot Softim biQarthadast. This makes me want to open diplomatic talks with them. Perhaps we can sell them our map information just as we have done with other nations.

Some very troublesome news..

Ptolemaioi Army is near Tarsos. About 5 units in it. I ask Sarpedon to allow Timarchos to lead his army against them. It would be bad if we allow them to besiege the town.

Another Ptolemaioi army was seen near Hierosolyma. There are some Kretan Archers and Thessalian Cavalry in it. If the garrison from Hierosolyma joins with them then within the next 3 months they could attack My Royal Army, currently besieging Sidon.
