Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Autumn 259 BCE

Buildings
To further secure our western borders the construction of some Katiokiai have been started in Byzantion and Hierosolyma has had its walls repaired. Slaves have started the labour of making some basic Hodoi in Nikaia.

A Syllogos kai Skeuotheke Strateumatos has been finished in Alexandreia-Ariana and a Choma Kapelikon in Amaseia.

Military
A unit of Thraikioi Doryophoroi have been recruited for the garrison of Byzantion and a pantodapoi for the Hierosolyma garrison, where the pantodapoi phalangitai in the 1st Syrian Army has been retrained. A pantodapoi has been raised in Zadrakata.

Internal affairs
A Satrapeia HemiAutonomos have been reinstituted in Hierosolyma.

A quite large band of rebels have been found between Karkathiokerta and Edessa, and one slightly smaller has formed between Side and Ankyra.

Taxes were raised in Ekbatana and Hierosolyma.

Misc.
Moved Sarpedon and his Royal Army south. Captain Androsthenes have started his march towards Byzantion with 121 Pantodapoi Phalangitai. Captain Xenoitas have started moving towards Sarpedon's Royal Army with 79 Kovkasi Lernain Netadzik.

Theodotas Termessou Pisidikes' wife Nikaia has given birth to a new daughter, Nikerete.

TCV, please recruit RBG in Arbela. He will be 'Slave trader'.
Also, to others, if you want to remove some ancillaries then let me know in the Agora.
'Slave Trader' will stay to Arbela for the next couple of turns.

Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Winter 259 BCE

Buildings
A Naiskos Mordekou is being constructed in Hierosolyma to appease the population, who are only kept in peace by the threat of the sword. A Choriton Syllogos Strateumatos is being built in Zadrakata, a Megaron Epitropou is also being constructed in Prophthasia. The mercantile port in Charax is also being expanded to promote more trade.

An Ocheteia Haple has been constructed in Alexandreia-Ariana, and in Antiocheia-Margiane a Choriton Syllogos Strateumatos is finished. Nikaia now has roads, and Hekatompylos is sporting some pompous festivals each year.

Internal affairs
Taxes were lowered in Byzantion, while taxes were on the other hand raised in Zadrakata again.

A small band of rebels have appeared in Nikarchos' satrapy. They should be easy to dispatch.

Foreign affairs
The war between our allies, the Romani, and the Arverni barbarians in Gaul as ended as the latter has now been made a client kingdom of the former.

Intelligence
Because of the unrest in Hierosolyma that is being fed by foreign agents, which is at this time only kept in check by the 1st Syrian and Aratos own presence, we have recruited some agents of our own there with the goal to root them out and rid us of this problem. As it turns out, it was successful and although not all agents are removed, some have already been found and promtly executed.

Misc.
Phormion Armeniakon has been moved further towards Ipsos as he asks. Sarpedon's Royal Army has moved on further towards the border as well.

Panaitolos Ankyrikos has married Agave.

3 RGBs have been recruited in Antiocheia and one in Arbela.
