Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Spring 258 BCE

Buildings
After a long while's bickering with the governor of Tarsos a Melathron Epitropou is now being constructed there. A Phrourion is being established for the same reason in Pergamon, and Katoikiai is being built in Nikaia. Lastly, a Syllogos Strateumatos is in construction in Asaak.

A Chrematistes has been finished in Karmana, and in Sidon a Hormos Emporikos is completed. Both will improve trade profits.

Military
A unit of pantodapoi phalangitai was raised in Heirosolyma.

Internal affairs
Taxes were lowered in Zadrakata to calm down the locals once again.

Ekbatana has grown larger and will soon be needing an expansion to the governor's house to keep him safe against the increasing amount of peasants in the area who might get the idea to revolt.

Foreign affairs

Intelligence
An Epeirotan army that was spotted between Pella and Tylis has disappeared out of our sight.

Misc.
Phormion has moved further towards Ipsos, and Sarpedon has reached the southern borders. Captain Xenoitas is almost in Antiocheia. Captain Androsthenes has also moved further towards Byzantion.

Side has started projects on a Pediox Agonion.

Sardis has begun construction on a Orchetos Lithinos Kryptos.

In Susa, city-state festivals will now be held.

In Karkathiokerta, the Melathron Epitoroupou has been complete.

In Pergamon, the Phourion has been establsihed.

In Antiocheia, the Magale Agora has been constructed.

In Zadrakata, a Phourion was also established.

Military
The 1st Syrians fort has been surrounded by a Ptolemy army under Captain Dionysios. Units of the Basileus' RA have been retrained and more are in progress. The 1st Lydian Has besieged Tylis after fighting of an ambush. (Battle Report with Screens coming soon.)

Internal Affairs
Hermokrates Parthikos has hired a dioiketes and a silk merchant. Arreneides Gedrosianos has hired a Rhetor Hellenikos, a Appolionios Rhodios, and a Librarian. A suitable husband perposal awaits Pherenike.

Buildings
Hekatompylos has begun establishing a Phrourion.

Antiocheia-Margiane has begun construction of a Asklepieion.

Memphis's walls have been repaired.

Military
2 Thorakitai, 1 Hypospistai, and 1 Argyraspides has been queued for recruitment in Alexandreia. Memphis has been besieged by a small Ptolemy force, and a larger enemy force is also approaching the city.
The 1st Lydian was attacked by two large Epirote armies and has retreated in the hopes to lure one to them.

Building
Edessa has finished its Ochetos Lithinos Kryptos.

In Side, the Pedion Agonion has been completed.

Ankyra also saw the completion of its Pedion Agonion.

Halikarnassos is now a satrapeia seleukeia.

Military
1 Thorakitai unit trained in Alexandreia for the RA.

Panaitolos and the 1st Lydian faced off against Eudamos Prochtheios of Epeiros in a glorious battle. The result, none the less, was a clear defeat. The remnants of the army as well as what is left of Panaitolo's bodyguard have barricaded themselves within a fort and await their inevitable sacrifice.

Internal Affairs
Epigenes has hired the services of an Agriculturalist.
