Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Spring 258 BCE

Buildings
After a long while's bickering with the governor of Tarsos a Melathron Epitropou is now being constructed there. A Phrourion is being established for the same reason in Pergamon, and Katoikiai is being built in Nikaia. Lastly, a Syllogos Strateumatos is in construction in Asaak.

A Chrematistes has been finished in Karmana, and in Sidon a Hormos Emporikos is completed. Both will improve trade profits.

Military
A unit of pantodapoi phalangitai was raised in Heirosolyma.

Internal affairs
Taxes were lowered in Zadrakata to calm down the locals once again.

Ekbatana has grown larger and will soon be needing an expansion to the governor's house to keep him safe against the increasing amount of peasants in the area who might get the idea to revolt.

Foreign affairs
No news to report.

Intelligence
An Epeirotan army that was spotted between Pella and Tylis has disappeared out of our sight.

Misc.
Phormion has moved further towards Ipsos, and Sarpedon has reached the southern borders. Captain Xenoitas is almost in Antiocheia. Captain Androsthenes has also moved further towards Byzantion.

Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Summer 258 BCE

Buildings
In order to make Amaseia able to support itself with at least the most basic military, a Syllogos Strateumatos has been ordered there. Sinope, on the other hand, will get economic improvements instead in the form of a Hormos Emporikos. A Phrourion is also being constructed in Persepolis, and the farmlands in Ankyra are being improved.

A Choriton Syllogos Strateumatos and Katoikiai has been finished in Zadrakata and Byzantion respectively.

Military
The Gund-î Paltâ has returned to Mazaka's garrison and been retrained. A unit of akontistai has also been raised in Pergamon.

Sarpedon's Caucasian Archers have been retrained in Antiocheia.

Internal affairs
Taxes were now raised significantly in Zadrakata.

A Baktrian diplomat has contacted the garrison in Antiocheia-Margiane. It is unknown what was said between them.

Karkathiokerta has grown recognizably in size.

Foreign affairs
Koinon Hellenon has broken the peace they had with Makedonia once again and have gone to war as the aggressors.

Intelligence
Our spies have been kicked out of Tylis, and a Ptolemaic army is being massed outside of Alexandreia, probably meant to intercept Basileus Sarpedon.

Misc.
Sarpedon's Royal Army has engaged a Ptolemaic force under captain Pedubast who retreated. Sarpedon decided not to pursue him, but to leave him to the 1st Syrian.

Phormion Epiphaneon Armeniakon have moved on and is now on the bridge outside of Tarsos.
