Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Autumn 258 BCE

Buildings
Karkathiokerta is getting a Melathron Epitropou. Heorte Poleos has been ordered in Byzantion as well as Seleukeia and Babylon. To be better prepared against a possible Hai incursion, a Choriton Syllogos Strateumatos is being built in Ekbatana to make better use of the locals. Finally, an Ochetos Lithinos Kryptos is on the way in Sardis.

A Syllogos Strateumatos has been finished in Asaak, and a Naiskos Merdou in Hierosolyma.

Military
Shûbân-î Fradâkshânâ have been retrained in Zadrakata, as well as a unit of pantodapoi in Mazaka.

Internal affairs
Taxes in Zadrakarta has been slighly lowered again.

A Hayasdan army has entered our lands and is situated just north of Ekbatana. A Baktrian diplomat has, once again, contacted the garrison commander of Antiocheia-Margiane, with unknown offers.

Foreign affairs
No news to report.

Intelligence
The Ptolemaic army under Pedubast that Sarpedon chased away in the summer has moved north, just outside our borders.

Misc.
Sarpedon and his Royal Army has moved further into Aigyptos, his Kovkasi Lernain Netadzik trailing behind by Sidon. Phormion Armeniakon are 6 months away from Ipsos. Captain Androsthenes is 9 months away from his destination in Byzantion.

Hamaktyon Nikopoleos Syriakes has become bored.

Basileus & Chancellor's Report, Winter 258 BCE

Buildings
Farmers are rejoicing in Salamis and Karmana as their farmlands will be getting an improvement now. Ochetos Lithinos Kryptos (Hidden Stone Sewers) are being built in Hekatompylos, and katoikiai (Homes for Military Settlers) have been ordered in Hierosolyma. In Apameia a Ocheteia Haple (Simple Drainage) has been built to increase the amount of soldiers we can draw from the region. Heorte Poleos (City-State Festival) is being prepared in Susa to keep the population happy. Finally, a Naiskos Atargatidos (Small Temple of Atargatis) has started construction in Damaskos.

A Melathron Epitropou (Governor's Great House) has been finished in Tarsos, a Syllogos Strateumatos (Conscription Center of the Army) in Amaseia and a Katoikiai (Homes for Military Settlers) in Nikaia.

Military
Pantodapoi have been retrained in Asaak.

Internal affairs
A strong rebel force has gathered outside of Arbela.

Our spies have re-entered Tylis successfully.

Misc.
Captain Lasthenes have moved south with Sarpedon's Caucasian Archers, and Phormion Armeniakon has been moved further towards Ipsos. He will arrive next season. Captain Androsthenes is two seasons away from Byzantion.

Kalinikos Syriakos (son of Theodoros Syriakos and Basileus Sarpedon's nephew) has come of age!
