Wierdo issue

Very simple, after i changed my video card, i cant play EB anymore, tried over 6 tries, instaliing and reinstalling EB on rtw.exe bi.exe and alex.exe, none of them worked, and the -very- wierd is, i can play rome, bi or alex, but i cant play EB

when i install eb, on any of the .exes the loading screen when i enter in EB is black, no nice pics of history lessons, and when i try to enter either a battle or the campaign, the screen goes black, the green EB bar loads a bit, then crashes, and this happened to me over 20 times, after installing and reinstalling EB about 20 times as well


ps: i also downloaded the EB setup about three times, none of them worked



any ideas?

Yes:
a) You do not have your drivers properly set up for your Video card to interoperate with the game correctly (try fiddling with updating your drivers or going back to older ones);
b) By lucky chance you have chosen an RTW 'incompatible' video card;
c) (a) and/or (b) + by similar lucky chance you happen to have an Nvidia chipset in the card (Nvidia chipset BIOSes are among the worst known in existance)

Try various drivers. If you've got an ATI card, I have a recommendation in the validation thread.

Note: i can play either the vanilla campaigns, and battles, but i cant play EB ones
any new ideas?



and i'll try to download more drivers to see what happens

maybe you're running out of luck...

what video card do you have?

Also try -nm and -ne switches. I have a hunch about -nm.
