yes, if you use the S1_hoplite animation you have to rotate the spear 180 degrees on the model (this is only for EB though; most mods generally have them that way to begin with).I've verified that Res Gestae 3.0 uses a unified animation pack too.
I've done some test with Signiferone's hoplites animation and unfortunately it doesn't solve all the issues I'm concerned with (you still have to use short_pike attribute to make them properly charge, which means having back rows spears pointing the sky) and it has a new issue itself (during the charge the spears point the wrong direction!![]()
I'll make some more tests messing with attributes and perhaps mass values...if anyone has any suggestion about it it would be great.
