Default Odd things recently in my Luso campaign

First I was wondering if this was historically scripted in? Because looking into it he was around in the mid 250's and I am (as you may see) in the year 242. Guess he just hasn't died yet, I'll have to do the job.

And secondly, notice anything wrong here?

If you can't see it....Look at the time remaining. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Xanthippos keeps popping up. Do a forum search to find out more.

Can't help with the second problem.

Xanthippos, I believe, was a mercenary Spartan general that served Kart-Hadast and helped modernize its military.

How did you manage to recruit the monster, armoured Dosidataskeli (Vasci Armoured Shock Infantry)? I thought they were removed by the EB team? Did you enable them through modding?

Negative numbers on the timer will occur if you choose to continue the battle after breaking the enemy. If this is the case, somewhere on the map there is an enemy guy or two stuck on a tree or something. I believe exiting the battle in these cases will still result in a win for you. There may be other cases for negative numbers, if what I stated isn't your case, more details of the battle are needed.

as MAA mentions you will regularly get people stuck behind those big trees... I got fed up of it and swapped the trees for the ones from another mod to deal with the problem... it isn't difficult if you follow the method in the technical forum...

    cheers,

Yeah, I remember reading about Xanthippos, I just wasn't sure if this was event that was supposed to occur, I'll do some forum searching on that topic.

And as for the negative timer, thanks for the information; I figured it had something to do with the Arverni being stuck on the map. (You can see him at the bottom of the map.)

And as for the monster that is DOSIDATASKELI, he is recruitable if you just mod one of the folders, it's quite simple. Do a forum search and you can find out about it.
