    Default Troops acting strangely

My troops have started behaving strangely in EB, I have tried a clean install three or four times and it's still happening. Basically when I try to move my units they spread out like they are going into a loose formation and won't go where I want them, sometimes they just won't move other times they run off in a random direction. My cavalry just run towards where I send them and keep going, also in a loose formation. What files would I need to look into to see whats going on here? Thanks in advance for any help.

A validation might be in order... I've never heard of this behaviour being consistent, but it happens occasionally to all of us I think. At least, I've had the bug where they keep running off in the same direction forever.

I tried to run the validation but the file is blank. I'm playing with Steam and I've got a feeling you can't completely clean all traces of RTW and EB when you uninstall, so the problem keeps coming back even though I think I'm doing a clean install. Thanks for the help anyway bovi.

Blank file means something is wrong before it starts. Have you got Java installed? You need that.
