A messenger rushes in
I bring word from Alexandros Syriakos. He wishes to inform the council that the town of Pselkis has fallen and the garrison destroyed. After a short period of rest the army will continue the campaign. Alexandros senses that the Ptolemaioi are near defeat and that every effort must be made to finish them off quickly. This he can do, but to expedite the process I have been instructed to request the chancellor to train a small garrison for Pselkis and replenish the army's numbers.
The messenger bows and leaves the floor
