The EB Tavern

welcome, stranger, to the EB tavern! i am the bartender, as many know.
this is only being called the "eb tavern" b/c its the original name for it, and we want to keep the tradition.

unlike this glorious sub-forum we are in, this is a place where we can all get to know each other and have merry times and talk about (almost) whatever we want, ie, sports, games, weather, location, relationship problems, anything. we are all here to talk and give each other support

but this thread will be carefully watched by the mods, so i suggest you keep your language bottled up.

some of the ground rules:
1) no weapons (its a loooong story.....)
2) no politics (see tavern history section)
3) no putting down another persons religion
4) no insulting other mods/games, like EB, RTR, XGM, ect.
5) obey the BOOST at all times!
6) no rebellions....

those are the basic rules. other than that, we are here to have fun!

***the history of the EB tavern***
in a forum far, far away, a man named Bootsiuv founded this great place on 9/6/2007, a little more than a year ago, in the EB forums. all was merry, until the the mods closed it down after 2,376 posts of great merriment and happiness.

a short while later, on 4/26/2008, the EB team re-opened the tavern. the merrymaking resumed. but all good things must come to an end. on 8/17/2008, after 2,076 posts, the mods closed the tavern down- for good, in an attempt to stop spam in that forum.
Appo,my trusted drinking buddy and friend, opened the EB Tavern social group. but becasue it just was not to out liking, we asked Lemur if we could have it here. so here we are today, in the 4th EB Tavern. may it live long, my friends!

Let us hope this works out.
Just to add, if anyone for some reason really needs to vent himself about this political or religious views, he can always temporarily use the old Social Group. But I hope this won´t be needed.

Also, I´d like to reinforce Rule 1, NO WEAPONS. Whatsoever. And no non-weapons fighting either. NO FIGHTING at all. And especially NO CLAYMORES (long story). Well, except pencils, and only my agents are allowed to use those (another long story).

There is one exception to Appo's rule, and that is the lone pilum that is embedded in the wall over there to the left of the comedy singing plastic fish, and the Neon sign with 'Beer! Girls!' written on it.
That pilum is set aside for the sole use of Appo himself, and it is what we prop up his often cormotose body against.
