Okay. All those listed by Ichigo will be considered to be in and playing.
We'll give it to Saturday at Midnight EDT for signups, then I'll work out pairings using random.org.
Tournament bracketing will be set up and then the players will be responsible for choosing the means of their play (PBem; PBchat; online game). Each pair will be given a set amount of time to complete their best of three match (what amount do you think will do?)
Both opponents must communicate the results to the thread (so that we may see that both concur).
Round 2 may not start until Round 1 is completed, so faster pairs will have some downtime between rounds.

Sorry guys been busy with real life!

I just played my two games with Martok.
The first game was plagued with technical difficulties, in the end I was given the win. The second game was a classic, nearly two hours long and tight all the way, in the end I capitalised on a bit of a defensive blunder.
So, final score 2-0.

Heh. There may be some truth in that.Or that "Total War" chess players are willing to accept horrific casualties to achieve a close victory!
Wasp and I are in the midst of our first game right now, with him currently holding the advantage. Match will hopefully resume when he returns from work tonight.
