    Default Anyone ever try a vanilla hotseat with the battles played?

    Hello all,
    I've been trying to play a hotseat game with a friend. There seems to be something incompatible between our versions of Kingdoms, so that I can't open any Kingdoms mod save he sends me. Regular MTW2 Grand Campaign hotseat saves, however, work fine. Given how long it would take for one or both of us to do a complete reinstall we figured we'd just go with the vanilla Grand Campaign.

    Now the problem is I can't see to get battles to work. Turning off autoresolved battles works fine in the BC hotseat, which doesn't require Kingdoms. I would think they'd work in vanilla.

    Can anyone tell me if I haven't set up my cfg file right, or confirm if battles must be autoresolved in the vanilla Grand Campaign?

    Hey Zim,

    The only file you have off is the

    hotseat_auto_resolve_battles=0

    It should be

    hotseat_autoresolve_battles = 1
