I'm not sure how my post supports anything of the sort.

The fact that you have not received any warning points in the past does not mean you are immune to receiving one, or even two, here in the present should the situation call for it. I've seen you deliberately attempt to instigate a confrontation in the last week alone, and I saw you do much the same in the thread we are now referencing. You claimed to be supporting pizzaguy's thread on page two, but one page one you were questioning why he should even be able to make a thread of that sort. Am I wrong in this?

If you honestly believe you are the target of a conspiracy or a bias, then that is your humble opinion and i respect it, however being a Moderator of this site i cannot help but feel offended that you would accuse my fellow mods and AMs of being so petty to participate in such a practice. I think, AoW, that you can be a very helpful and contributing member of this site. I've seen your posts in the Apothecary (i think it was there? Correct me if i'm wrong) where you go were going to great lengths to help people who were struggling with tech problems in the game. However I've also seen the way you've acted (and react) to something certain people say in the citadel and now the Empire forum, and I have to say that imho those actions were quite out of line.

I'm not suggesting you feign niceties, no. I know the way of the world. Not everyone can like everyone else, personalities clash. However the site has rules that we expect members to uphold. Sometimes the best thing to do is to walk away from your computer instead of posting something you may regret.

Though, after a while, I managed to punch myself in the bollox (As Tribesy would say) and man up, and made peace with my "rival".

My point? Man up. Don't like the mods? TS, they're in charge. Don't become a Swedish Fish.

Besides, you say you cited historical sources and argued Blitzkrieg with a member on a game-related thread, and the conversation was deleted. This, of course, was because the discussion of historical Blitzkrieg was unrelated to a thread about game "Blitzing". Note, the entire conversation was deleted, correct? That means you're not being targeted, it means the Mods are clearing house. Besides, the other member might have gotten a warning as well (though the Mods keep this confidential to everyone but the person in question).

Whether or not you continue your confrontational, "everyone's against me", and increasingly childish attitude is up to you. Take note, however, this will tank your reputation with some, and will more than likely achieve nothing.

The Mods, nor members, are not your, or anyone's, slaves. They do not "hold grudges", "target", or "help out a friend". They follow ToS when they see it violated. This was the case. They acted accordingly.
    Interesting advice SF.

You make some good points however, in the interests of keeping heads cool might I suggest we keep this discussion civil and not bordering on the confrontational posting style that has led to this issue being brought to the Watchtower in the first place? (longest run-on ever!) I know the subject at hand is a volatile one, warning Points are always a hot button issue.

Take this as a friendly reminder everyone; let's keep this civil.

I stayed uninvolved in this conversation intentionally, because in spite of certain treatment of me and others, I felt a fellow member had the right to air his complaints. I applaud the moderators for taking action to correct repeated violations of the Terms of Service, and apologize for any and all infractions I myself have committed over time.

I believe the action of locking threads, archiving and soft deleting posts is both necessary and valid to deal with a problem member. In some cases, myself included, merely being asked to delete a post or modify it to comply with terms of service, or having a moderator delete the post and enforce a warning point, is enough. For others, asking politely and issuing warnings is not enough. And the corrective actions taken by moderators to enforce terms of service are necessary to have a forum that is conducive to intelligent, respectful exchange of ideas.

Thank you once again, everyone, for your attention to this matter. I do not feel as though my problems were being ignored, nor do I feel I was given special treatment. My (few) inappropriate posts were deleted and I agreed to follow the terms of service.

It should be that way for everyone who wishes to participate.

I look forward to further participation in this forum with all of you fine fellow Orgahs.
