Sorry to tell you, but it didn't say much. Don't take it personal, it's just not awe-inspiring. The ''old film'' and ''sepia'' effect should be left out, it kind of ruins the movie. Also, I noticed some spelling errors. You should consider doing this in liaison with someone else, as only through a multiplayer battle you will manage to get the desired ''effect'' of the real battle. Good try though and remember: practise makes perfect

thanks I know I not so good at spelling I've got a spelling age of like 8 the next movie will most likely have the good clips although I don't intend to spent months over getting them I was also limited on what I could do with not using movie_cam

my first though on seeing most movies is the lack of story if any story to it and birds eye views I also agree on the special effects that Quinctius Cincinnatus put in his at the beginning as when it actually gets to the battle it's less impressive

thanks for you comments Maion Maroneios

No problem, but if you really want to make this impressive, you should play with Windows Movie Maker and the movie_cap as much as you can. Once you get experienced with it, you will start doing more complex and cool things. As for the spelling, you could always get some help from grammar book or a friend for example.

Yeh get rid of the Olde timey sepia effect. It makes no sense as it doesn't improve the historic feel of it at all. If the battle of Cannae took place in 1896AD then yeah. You need to clean up the audio. Get rid of all lag otherwise noone will want to watch it. Smooth shots. Make sure each shot has something going on or the realism wont be as good. Real armies dont stop like computer generated people do.

Well, I actually somewhat liked the "olde film/sepia" effect albeit it reducing the quality of the video to where you couldn't distinguish most details. If you could just do the "old film" effect with better quality, it would be fine. It would be better though if you just got rid of it since it is very hard to show any significant details with the black/brown and white/yellow video. Remember, what works for real-life film does not work for video game footage. Not to mention the YouTube resolution is simply debilitating. Check out these excellent videos and see if it gives you any ideas:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMyikfONXbU - Battle of Cannae (RTR) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5df5X4quPcg Veni, Vidi, Vici (RTW) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4Vuo9iezMY Baktria vs Seleukia (EB)
as well as YouTube Total War videos by this guy: sin329 (especially his Battle of Ravenna and Battle of Crecy videos - they are splendidly stunning!) (M2TW)

I have noticed that having right music (Gladiator/"Forever - RTW End Credit" music) helps as well as showing continuous footage instead of fragments. Notice how smooth and natural the movements are in the abovementioned videos.
