Well, I actually somewhat liked the "olde film/sepia" effect albeit it reducing the quality of the video to where you couldn't distinguish most details. If you could just do the "old film" effect with better quality, it would be fine. It would be better though if you just got rid of it since it is very hard to show any significant details with the black/brown and white/yellow video. Remember, what works for real-life film does not work for video game footage. Not to mention the YouTube resolution is simply debilitating. I have noticed that having right music (Gladiator/"Forever - RTW End Credit" music) helps as well as showing continuous footage instead of fragments. Notice how smooth and natural the movements are in the abovementioned videos.
