I like both, desert pie (blueberry, pecan, pumpkin, etc.) with loads of whip topping or a dinner pie (like a Pasty, filled with meats) with a complimentary gravy all over it.

Well if we're talking dessert, then definitely cake.
Blech! Just the thought of that honestly makes me want to hurl. (I generally love nuts, but I really really really hate pecans.)
