Thread: Permanent fixes for 1.1 installation?

  1. #1

Question Permanent fixes for 1.1 installation?

How do you install the 4 permanent fixes for 1.1? It says to "Unpack into <RTW directory>/EB/data." but shouldn't they go in sub-folders. One of them is an updated script; shouldn't that replace the original script?

Also the "Missing sprites" update is a bit confusing. How do you intall that?

I just installed 1.1; it worked fine. Then I installed these updates and it CTD everytime I loaded a game.

YOU UNPACK THEM INTO <RTW>/EB/Data. ALL OF THEM. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. They will go into subfolders and will indeed replace the old files. Run a validation to make sure you installed them right. Start a new campaign for non-retroactive fixes to take effect.

Do they all replace old files?

Also, that validation? That is the one that was installed with EB, correct?
