Hey there!
We play Baktria and we rule all of Africa but this one town Terhazza. It's in the left under corner of the map in the desert. How can we get there? Is there a way to get down??
Thank for answers, your Rycalawre

You can't without cheating. You need to move_character to that location to take it. However its not advisable you do so as it is used for a lot of scripting purposes and it can ruin the game.

No, you should never take it.

What if you take it but do not destroy any buildings/markers in the city, nor construct any buildings? I am planning to conquer the entire world as the Romani, and I already have more than half of the territories under control. I would really like the world map to be all red when I finish my campaign.
Plus, why would you want to rule the sands of Sahara?

I don't come here a lot any more. You know why? Because you suck. That's right, I'm talking to you. Your annoying attitude, bad grammar, illogical arguments, false beliefs and pathetic attempts at humour have driven me and many other nice people from this forum. You should feel ashamed. Report here at once to recieve your punishment. Scumbag.

Well, it does exist:

None, it is a desert.

Huh? Are you saying there are no units defending the town? When I turned the fog of war off, the city seemed to have some kind of garrison, I mean it didn't have the empty flag above it and there were question marks indicating the presence of some kind of units, not just buildings.
toggle perfect spy?
The Romans didn't even want to conquer Scotland, so why Sahara?
You could see what units are in there <_<

To Centurio Nixalsverdrus:
As I have already mentioned a couple of times, I plan to conquer the world, no matter how ahistorical it was.
To Hax:
Having a perfect spy means that the spy always has 100% chance of successfully completing a mission, no matter how difficult it truly is. However, Terhazza cannot be reached due to the combination of mountains and rivers blocking thew way. A perfect spy is still restricted by the type tiles he can move on, isn't he?

We are talking about the console command "toggle_perfect_spy". Press F1, and click the questionmark. Follow the directions you get then, toggle fow off and double click Terhazza

Maybe not. Instead we should just put Timbuktu there and give it streets of gold and rivers of salt and spice or whatever else we can think of.
The most common units garrisoning Terhazza that I´ve noticed are Ethiopian Spearmen and Freed Slaves. In fact, they might be the only units I´ve seen around there. I think I´ve seen Arabian Light Cavalry, but I´m not sure.

I would create a long boring path that gives the ability to reach that town after 3489798 turns travelling in a narrow and twisting walkable corridor (constantly turning from West to East and from East to West until the end).
Then, whoever will have the patience to cross the sands, will finally find an eleutheroi family member called "Don't Conquer This City It Will Ruin Scripts And Probably Cause CTDs". Maybe he won't find it fun, but who knows...
If we had unlimited unit slots I would also place there Yubtseb elephants and Bartix archers as an Easter egg, but unfortunately they are numbered and shouldn't be wasted for joke-units.
However, I think that if Eremos is the last province left in the map, anybody is free to cheat, move a character and conquer the town, who cares if it would cause troubles in the script? The game is virtually ended, you have just conquered all the other settlements, nothing left but Terhazza. What else should one do?

O! Plus! Perge! Aio! Hui! Hem!
Fight the dozens of revolts you´re bound to get?
Or keep one faction alive with one region and then once you´ve conquered everything except that region and Terhazza gift all your regions to that faction, disband your entire army and fleet, and start it all voer again.

Seriously? Where is the fun in keeping quiet distant troubling settlements with huge armies trained in a powerful empire and wait while clicking the "end turn button" hundred times again with nothing else to do?Fight the dozens of revolts you´re bound to get?
This is surely better and more reasonable, however I think that in this particular case, unless he blitzed before, the player that wants to do this instead starting a new game won't have enough turns left to reconquer everything.Or keep one faction alive with one region and then once you´ve conquered everything except that region and Terhazza gift all your regions to that faction, disband your entire army and fleet, and start it all voer again.
Well, it could be good also saving, conquering Terhazza, taking a screenshot of the monochromatic map, reloading and then doing anything one wants to do (watching settlements rebel, giving all to the occasional last enemy, roaming without an end through untamed lands etc.).
No troubles, no risk of crashes. The player's in his game - all's right with the world (quote).
