Default MTW II save game folder?

Hello everyone, I came with a quick question.

Where is the save game folder for MTW II? I can't find it anywhere.

    Thanks.

To be found in Drive\Folder\Medieval II\Saves.

Not that the "saves" folder is only created on starting your first campaign..

I'm using Vista Family Edition and my folder is found following the path I mentioned...

As I stated before, if you haven't yet started a campaign, there won't be a Saves folder. If you did start one, then it is strange you can't find it...

One sure way to find it is to use the search function of Vista. Go in the game and create a save with a name that could be easily discernible by the search engine. Leave the game (Alt-Tabing out of it works for me). Launch a Vista search on the Savegame name. The engine should come up with some result and by right-clicking on them, it should point you to the path of the Saves folder.

    Hope that helps...

It shouldn't I also find the saves where tristan said, You should also try looking for the Virtual Store folder it is where vista hides the saves and images some times the route in my computer is this:

    C:\Users\Cool\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\

When you're in your M2TW directory there should be a little button that says "compatibility." Click it and the Saves folder should appear.

I have re-installed M2TW and I now need to put the save games i kept back, back into the Medieval folder so that they are recognised in the game.

Can anyone tell me where to copy the save games into the Medieval file???

    Cheers

Well, I would randomly start a campaign to create the saves folder.

Then, put all of your old save games into said folder
