Sardis should be the problem... everytime i want to storm the city the game crashes...
hope someone can help me!
i loved that game.

Hello, did someone know an answer?
the city sardis shows an army that is not existing any more.
i killed them in a battle just befor, when i passed the season, a seleukid helping army wanted to attack my siegetroops. the garrison added them too. i shattered them both... and tada...the weel of time, in the next season i coundn´t storm the city, because the ghost-echoarmy is still defending them...

So what happens if you starve them out or auto_win the assault? You're speaking of a ghost army, which means there is probably a clone somewhere out there. You may have to leave the city alone until later, when that clone has died a natural death.

Also, you could try to reload the save before the reinforcements came to help, and go softer on the slaughter so there remains a garrison to assault.

Had similar problem with Sardis, as Epirus, against Seleucids (sry cbf using fancy EB spellingz)

Sieged it with superior army from the South-West tile, no AI response except moving a couple of minor stacks (1-3 units) next to my sieging army but didn't attack me, siege ended with starve and without sally. When I clicked "Enslave" or whatever the middle one is called, CTD. Reloaded QS from before clicking End Turn. AI this time attacked my stack, was attacked from the East with weak armies coming from North-West and South-East, with the city garrison from the North-East of course. Won (not without cas, hate fighting uphill) and clicked Enslave and no CTD this time.

Sounds like a different issue though
