Default Simplifying faction leader, heir, etc

Is there any quick and dirty way to simplify the FactionLeader/Heir traits? I know that someone spent a lot of time composing very specific bonuses and descriptions for each and every faction's leader and heir traits, but these seem to cause game crashes whenever one gets killed in a complex battle. For instance, if a faction leader is besieged within a city and killed in a pitched battle where his relief army is unsuccessful, the game will crash. The same thing occurs if a faction leader and heir are both killed in the same battle.

In cases such as this, I believe that playability trumps whatever immersive value that the titles of Shahanshah or Taoi Arjos bestow. Is there a quick way of fixing this to the Vanilla values?

That certainly has nothing to do with the traits, and I not entirely sure why you would think they were. I believe that the case of leader and heir dying the same battle causes the game to crash in RTW as well.

Hmm, I actually never ran into that problem in Vanilla RTW, to be honest. It just seems that every CTD I encounter invariably revolves around an enemy faction leader or heir. Sometimes the crash happens before the game loading screen, sometimes it occurs right as it should cut to the campaign map. I'll see if I can jot down exactly what happens next time I have this problem.

Still that hardly suggests the traits, and its very difficult to understand how it could be. Complex bonuses do not a CTD make.

Much to learn, you have, young apprentice. Say not "Complex bonuses do not a CTD make" you should. Say "complex bonuses, a CTD, do not make." Remember, young apprentice, many comas, important they are. Old Yoda is, slowly, he speak.

Is this why you can't choose an heir in M2TW? I always wondered about that.

Generally when I kill a leader and an heir in the same battle, it is because I have killed the faction.

yeah i've never gotten a CTD from butchering the faction's leaders. I am not sure this is true buddy. it must be soemthing else.
