Fully agree with every point. It's about time this thread was locked. BackroomWT threads are not the place to put members in the stocks and pelt them with rotten fruit - even where the member starts the thread and appears to have brought it on himself. I would say that this thread has now than served it's purpose - in more ways than one.

You are very clearly goading him, and he is responding with baiting you in kind. You both should know better and you as a staff member should doubly know that is not the way you react to a situation. One wrong does not justify another, one jump off a bridge does not demand another.

The severity of an insult or slight is more often then not, not the issue. If it was an insult, whether you use the word "idiot" or , it is the same thing. Tribesman calls you a child while you say "tribsey". It has the potential to be construed as the same thing.

That isn't the issue here and I don't think i've ever heard anyone say that for quite a long time. AM's like you and FactionHeir act as sole moderators in certain forums. Omanes Alexandrapolites is another good example of an AM who pretty much mods on his own. I'm not sure where this "AMs aren't needed" thing comes from.

Tosa is the only mod in the watchtower. That is done so no claims of bias may be leveled, every member has the right to air their grievances in an open forum. This thread has gone downhill really quick. Would you like me to give him a ring and tell him to drop everything IRL and log on to close this thread?
