wait till Paladin (that's the author of 1092, right?) gets out a new version of his mod, in comply with the patch.

You can use Paladin's 1092Early mod with the latest patch provided that you NOT use his customized units file (crusaders_unit_prod11).

I don't see why he can't use the customized unit data as well, there shouldn't be any problems, i have found a problem that my customised building data file doesn't let the game start tho.

That may be true but by using Paladin's custom unit file he will not experience much of the rebalanced data that was incorporated into the 1.1 patch (of course he could always go into the file and make the necessary changes himself). The same applies to the 'Early.txt' file but I found all I needed to change was the Danes' AI strategy.
