Hmmm....I've always wondered what would happen if a state like Alaska or Hawaii seceded from the USA. I suppose if Alaska was really seriously or had some really extremist paranoid leaders in charge, the US couldn't do that much since aren't there tons of nukes there?

I can't think of any extremist Alaskan leaders. No sir-ee, not in Alaska.
