These seems to be the actions of a tyrant.
France demands that the situation in Ottoman Empire and Balkans should be handled peacefully. We are ready to host a conference to settle the issue with negotiations. As much as we respect our good relations with Great Britain. We cant comprehend, why is the British Monarchy trying drive Europe to another war with their stubborn policies over Ottoman Empire. Also France warns Piedmont- Sardinia of engaging in any hostilities against Austria as France will consider that as hostilities towards France.
Gentlemen! Stop this now before it will be too late. With these reckless policies you will drive the entire continent in turmoil. Monsieurs! Give peace a chance!

To clarify - the closure of the straights is to protect my beseigeing forces - no more. If Russia wishes to pass through the straits to move forces to Greece to help the Greeks they may - the liberation of Christian Greece was my main aim.
As for trade - all ships need do is contact my local forces and safe passage will be arranged. The exception is obviously aid to Istanbul.

By the way, the 21th or 22nd of May will be my last day on the computer until the 14th or 15th of June is when I return due to my severe wrist tendnitions and I am going to need at least 3 weeks, sighty more (21-22 days) to heal them a bit. My brother will check my PM box while I am gone. So I hope Fran gets the chapter up before I go

I am truly shocked by the French's most misleading statement, in which the French monarch, if he can be called such, requested that his fellows in Europe 'Give peace a chance' i find myself inclined to state the most obvious contradictory note in this statement. While he claims for peace, he does intentionally fan the flames of war, by warning my person of a ban of hostilities against my good friend the Austrian Kaiser! I have no intention of doing such a foolish and brash act, infact i do believe my kingdom has seen no hostilities for many years now! Either the king is a bass fool, or he is attempting to mask his wish of seizing my kingdom to further his interests, which, as i see my duty to note, is openly defying the Concert. I call for my counterpart to remove this slight against my name, and to never restore it again!

Austria is most flattered to see two states so deeply concerned about its security. Since I see you both have good intentions, there must be some kind of misunderstanding. I see the explanation in the speeches of the Sardinian ambassador during the meeting in Bavaria, who seemed to have failed to seek the agreement of his monarch. I thank to France for the support and I am glad that the Sardinian King distanced himself from the announcement of his representative. It has been brought to us that Sardinia has suggested things that some might consider aggressive towards Austria and France is simply securing the peace near our borders, by making clear where we stand in these issues. The View of our Government is not the view of the Ambassdor to the Bavarian Conference, and i can assure you he has been replaced for his foolish actions. We had no wish to expand our borders, unless it is thrust upon us, or diccused.
