Franc - all I can say is that somethings stretch our friendship!! Sunday's debacle was the latest episode in a World Cup where our hopes - as usual - were high, only to face abject disappointment. A malaise has spread across the country like a lingering doom - one that will last until the Kick Off of the Premership, when all will be forgotten and the media will be back to telling us how fantastic these over paid dead beats are. Our only ray of hope is Andy Murray winning Wimbledon - I know technically he is Scotish but that is near enough!!

This game needs to start having actual deadlines. People can't just come and hold up the game for the rest of us especially when they have committed to major nations.
